Default More charm exploits

Last night, I evacced to Jarsath Waste inzone so I could grab some dinner while in the comfort and safety of immunity on Nagafen.

While eating and lovingly admiring my exp bar at level 79.9, a coercer came up to me with a charmed chicken, stood there contemplating my uberness for a bit, and then zoned into KP.

As soon as he zoned, his chicken was no longer charmed. Rather than run along to play with his chicken friends, he decided to attack me instead, which broke my immunity.

And then, our hero the coercer zoned back over from KP and engaged me while I was fighting his former pet.

So in addition to the problem with charmed mobs nuking for 8k, any class with charm can use any old non-nuking zone trash to break permanent immunity.

This doesn't even need to be done at a zone line for classes with FD. Hint: every tinker has FD.

Please fix the mechanics involved so that charmed mobs return to their spawn point before they agro, once charm is broken.

You either fight back, or you die.

But unlike the charm pet that hits for 10k, you can actually get warned/suspended for dropping mobs on people in immunity.

yes, its a warnable offense. yes, it's pretty lame.

however, this is the 92739th post you've made about the same dumbass mechanics all of us have been dealing with for months or years now. no one cares. we've already told the devs. they apparently don't care either. whatever.

don't afk outside a city. don't afk next to a zone line. and for the love of sweet jesus tittyfucking christ don't cry about dying, because this is a fucking pvp server, and you will die. you might even die... a lot.

Hey man, I realize this may be old news to you, but I've been on Nagafen for about 7 weeks now and have never seen or heard of this being done before. There are no existing threads on this issue. I'm not complaining about dying dumbass, I'm reporting a fucking exploit I haven't seen any prior posts about. My post doesn't even talk about dieing you fukn retard, it talks about being attacked.

Tomorrow morning, I recommend you try diarrhea free cereal, it may help you start your day in a better mood.

You should more specificly define this type of zone-out charm break. Otherwise you will impair coercers who very much want to recharm their pet after it breaks and goes nuts, who aren't trying to cheat like this guy.

Though I don't play on PvP, I've done this exact kind of charm break to harrass plat pharmers since forever.

There are post about it on the Nagafen/Vox forums but thats about it. Most coercer's could care less about recharming the mob. They zone out and give you 3 options to choose from.

1) Stay There, don't fight back and die.
2) Zone out and Break your perma Immunity
3) Fight the mob and Break Immunity.

Troubs do it as well. Anyone that can charm (SP Items included) can do it. It is a dick thing to do no doubt, but sometimes, you just want the fuckers that sit in Immunity to die.

Coercers have 5 different ways that I know of to "drop" mobs on your head and laugh at you while you die, and 1 other way to ensure your entire group wipes. This whole thread just further makes me believe that PvP in EQ2 was on of the worst ideas for this game. Trying to make a PvP game usuing a PvE foundation just fails. Although an exploit I applaud the coercer for killing you in such fasion.

If there was more than one evac point, if the evac point wasn't next to zone, if there was any other single way to AFK for five minutes in the zone, I wouldn't care.

But there are times a man just needs to drop a deuce or get some nourishment after a hard day of PVP, and it sucks to be forced to log out because there is no secure way to do that.

I'd like to see them do away with perma-immunity altogether, but that's another issue.
