We do need a merge, there aren't enough people.

And you know what? I don't have £50 to throw away on a game I already own. I'd rather just quit and be done with it. Or campaign for a merge.

EQ1 PvP was much, much harder than EQ2 PvP. Well unless you played a golden class.

Now that RoK has hit, and many people on the server find themselves sitting at 80, with little to do but rerun instances over and over, and finding it hard to PvP and get any amount of PvP tokens to get PvP gear, they are moving towards PvE content.

Individuals and Guillds from both sides, are gravitating towards being Exiled. They are having some of their member base convert their current classes into opposing ones and coming back, so they can balance for PvE end content raiding. It was slow at first, but now it is more prevalent. One guild recently went into Exile and now has about 60+ members sitting there in exile. Once people get into Exile, they go out usually, build up their title, then sit back and raid, no longer going out to PvP. This removes the possibility of more PvP happening on our PvP server. I see this as a huge problem for both Qeynos and Freeport as well.

I know soon PvP writs will be coming out, and hopefully it will turn this server back around to the PvP server it used to be, instead of having these guilds "sell out" their loyalty for some end game crap, which I might add for some guilds, like the one that just went there, only go to the leader and his few chosen lackeys, and any crumbs left over are fought over, and that's if you are allowed to raid, and are among the "chosen" few.

Some, I know for a fact, don't like it there, not getting what has been promised, and have already either started to exile back home, or are in the process of it. I hope they all see what is really going on there, and go back home to their rightful cities. When the PvP gear does come out, I believe it will be better than any end game gear, and hopefully force people to go back to the reason why this server was created in the first place, to PVP.

There is some low level PvP at times, for those rolling new toons, or those just venturing to try out a PvP server. But upper tiers are severely lacking.

Anyway, I would really like to see the server return back to normal, and more PvP coming our way. If I wanted a PvE server, I would have joined one.
I'm assuming you're talking about Bloodshed, and these little "subtle" attacks on the "leader" and his chosen few lackeys are directed at me.

When we have 35 people show up for raid time, an x4 only fits 24 people. ANY raiding guild on ANY server has to sit people from raid to raid.

We pick raid spots based on performance and attendance and class. We have like 10 druids and like 15 melee dps classes. This means that members of these over abundant classes have to sit for several raids.

If you are a member of this exiled guild and just don't want to reveal your name, since I see no "Grimster" on Vox, or a friend of one of these members, and you can't see that there are valid reasons why people sit... you were meant to be a level locker because end game content escapes you.

Of the people that came with us from Bloodshed, there are about 5 people who have to habitually be rotated through sitting and going. Of these 5, 3 stopped actively logging in, so their attendance has now placed them on the benched list for future raids they do show up for. I have also sat myself so that others could attend raids, so please take your subtle attacks at our integrity and shove them up your ass.

PvP on Vox has stepped UP with us being in Exile. I have received tells from both factions thanking me for taking our guild exile. Our people are happy as hell, at least the ones who have talked to me about it, and if anyone who did come along isn't happy, they're more than welcome to go back to the cities. They were told we were exiling to raid and merging with Chosen, and anyone who is in a raiding guild will eventually sit unless they are the main tank or an absolutely crucial class.

For those who enjoy raiding, on Vox exile is the ONLY way to go. Not because you HAVE to have all 24 classes to raid, but because anyone who actually gives a shit about raiding exiles. We sat in Freeport for 2 years trying to get things moving, never happened and never will. I used to focus on PvP instead since raiding wasn't happening in Freeport, but night after night spending 3 or 4 hours and getting maybe 5 kills, and being able to throw in with people who actually want to raid and focus on raiding, the choice was clear and easy.

Whoever's telling you all this bullshit about raid spots/gear only going to me and my "chosen lackeys" needs to get some plat and buy a fucking clue. In ANY raiding guild on ANY server, if you get sat, it means you didn't make yourself absolutely necessary. Either your DPS sucks as a DPS class or you don't keep your group alive as a healer or you don't play a needed support class and instead play a class that we have too much of and HAVE had too much of since we were in Freeport. Just as in real life when you get a job, if you want a permanent spot in a raid slot, earn it and make the raid leader HAVE to take you. Make yourself crucial. If you can't do that, it is NOT the raid leader's fault. And, everyone who sits also gets DKP for attending AND gets to bid on gear even while sitting out and can zone in and pick up their loot. No one is being left out or dumped on, and if they feel that way, they need to open their eyes.

This is due to our current raiding schedule. We raid 5 nights a week, and we raid 3-4 hours. This is most people's only/prime play time.

Wow Taear, you sure cry alot, if you don't like the PVP on Venekor, pay the 50 bucks to transfer to Nagafen. But please stop whining and crying just because you missed the free transfer.
