I though PvP, meant player vs player

My server is Vox, once upon a time we had a decent amount of PvP action on this server. The population, as compared to other servers, has dropped dramatically, then an update came out that forced people, who locked their xp, to gain xp through PvP. More players have left. Now that RoK has hit, and many people on the server find themselves sitting at 80, with little to do but rerun instances over and over, and finding it hard to PvP and get any amount of PvP tokens to get PvP gear, they are moving towards PvE content.

Individuals and Guillds from both sides, are gravitating towards being Exiled. They are having some of their member base convert their current classes into opposing ones and coming back, so they can balance for PvE end content raiding. It was slow at first, but now it is more prevalent. One guild recently went into Exile and now has about 60+ members sitting there in exile. Once people get into Exile, they go out usually, build up their title, then sit back and raid, no longer going out to PvP. This removes the possibility of more PvP happening on our PvP server. I see this as a huge problem for both Qeynos and Freeport as well.

I know soon PvP writs will be coming out, and hopefully it will turn this server back around to the PvP server it used to be, instead of having these guilds "sell out" their loyalty for some end game crap, which I might add for some guilds, like the one that just went there, only go to the leader and his few chosen lackeys, and any crumbs left over are fought over, and that's if you are allowed to raid, and are among the "chosen" few.

Some, I know for a fact, don't like it there, not getting what has been promised, and have already either started to exile back home, or are in the process of it. I hope they all see what is really going on there, and go back home to their rightful cities. When the PvP gear does come out, I believe it will be better than any end game gear, and hopefully force people to go back to the reason why this server was created in the first place, to PVP.

There is some low level PvP at times, for those rolling new toons, or those just venturing to try out a PvP server. But upper tiers are severely lacking.

Anyway, I would really like to see the server return back to normal, and more PvP coming our way. If I wanted a PvE server, I would have joined one.

is it as bad as darathar was? on darathar there were like 20 ppl in lvl 60-70 range in peak hours

Its never to late to reroll on Naggy. Vox was my main server for around 10 months, but I left a few months after the population started dropping.

I bet everyone on Vox laments not rerolling sooner, but just do it.

How odd. I just exiled and it seemed to have at least doubled my pvp chances...

Uhh in last 2 weeks the amount of PVP happening on vox has been fucking awsome. Crimson i think would rather be on a blue server as i never see any of them pvp since they exiled, but reckoning fields a group most nights. One thing i have noticed about vox, it seems to be mostly west coast based as most the action happens late a night for those of us in est.
