every decent PvPer has the /target_previous macro ready to go... but why should i have to hit this every 1.2 seconds when i'm being uncontrollably deaggro'd? is that fun? is that balanced? is that your idea of good pvp? so now, instead of scouts getting the ability to occasionally deaggro someone, which was a useful mechanic and part of their long time class makeup in PvE... almost EVERY class gets the ability to PASSIVELY do it?

20% detarget on any kind of damage? are you fucking kidding me? can you idiots seriously sit there and argue that this is balanced?

i will spell it out for you assholes for the eleven billionth time: the mechanic itself is not what's out of line here.. it's the chance to trigger it. a 2% stoneskin, or a 3% deaggro chance, these things are not overpowered. you can obtain a whole slew of fabled items with that kind of effect on it and then end up with a game-changing effect on your character. however, THAT LEVEL OF EFFECT (20-60% chance on a major mechanic) SHOULD NEVER, EVER, EVER BE AVAILABLE FROM ONE OR TWO ITEM SLOTS, especially easy to obtain legendary gear.

these mechanics will be nerfed to balance them for PvP. like it or not, it's going to happen. for all of you with no grasp of mathematics or game design and balance, get your little cryfests out of the way now. it's coming. and if you don't like it, there are plenty of FPS's where you can go drop in some cheat codes and feel like a big man again.

you want to know the funny thing about exiles?

whenever something doesnt go their way they cry like become here... he cant use the item so he complains about it, dont say this isnt the case cos it is, you chose to exile for a reason.

how can you complain about unfair advantages in pvp when you have gear that people in factions cannot get, yet you complain when its the other way around.

you have the best armour and weapons in the game because you can kill pve mobs, why should this give you an advantage in pvp? it still does to a certain extent but now we can get rewarded by pvping, what we are ehre to do, pvp.

cry more, nobody cares about the mild annoyance that you might have to be put through, you certainly dont care about my annoyance at you having insanely higher mit/avoidance/dbl attack/crit than me.

Ok, I just fought someone, well, I'm not sure you can call it a fight. The guy was soooo fucking small, I swear he was as small as the tip of my cursor with this item on. Every single time it proc'd, or he used his abilities to clear target, I had to wait for him to hit me again in order to get a target.

Every time I got a target I had to snare him, shut off my attacks to collect myself, and move out of his rangee or my attacks would clear his target almost immediately. I finally just took off.

This guy appeared to be much smaller than the Fae quest ability that allows Fae to shrink. I can't even explain how small he was, except you couldn't see him PERIOD when he was just out of melee range. That didn't bode well for my Ranger. I'd shoot one shot, poof, gone. Wait, wait....

It was like fighting a ghost at times.

P.S. In an odd, morbid way I enjoyed that fight.

What the fuck are you going on about size for? The Shifting Band is not a shrink item and this is not a shrink item thread.

TBH I hate this guy already.. he talks shit because he never stays on topic. 36 BS posts..

I even highlighted 6+ posts of irrelavent shit and he still tries to de-rail threads.. he needs more friends to talk to, needs to make a facebook/myspace account and leave these forums alone imo.

/back on topic

From the shugo of the muromachi period through the sengoku to the daimyo of the Edo period, the rank had a long and varied history. It was usually, though not exclusively, from these warlords that a shogun arose.
