I don't mind spending time in the game to achieve my goals, hell that is the whole point.

300 PvP tokens for a scout (rogue/predator) is nothing. Why should said scout be able to attain better than end game quality gear, for a fraction of the effort, time, coordination than any other class or archtype in the game.

That's what the devs are intending it as and are making it as such. Hence why there is no PvP gear available, and a smattering of penalties for living as an exile.

The Banshee Hoop from the PvP merchant makes this shield look like handcrafted garbage, tbh. This deagro is a nuisance, and you have to pay attention, and have good hotkeys (you know PvP shit, right?), but now the fear proc on the Banshee Hoop is OP!!

Well, my comments have nothing to do whether this item is overpowered or not. It has more to do with where you get the gear for what you do. Which is why I never said the item was overpowered, or it wasn't overpowered. I just said, if you PvE, you should get loot designed for PvE, and if you PvP, you should get loot designed for PvP!

Pretty simple, imo. Nothing to do with the item being discussed, but more of a general statement since LFG seemed to think that VP should drop an item that has PvP effects, when it's a PvE zone.

I think he meant having those effects on raid gear with a PvE/PvP checkbox but have significantly lower proc% then the actual PvP token vendor...Like 5% on the raid gear as opposed to 20% on the PvP gear etc...As it is right now there are like no pieces of gear that are a de-agro with pvp drop target checkbox...There might be a couple but thats it

EDIT: Like the Wuoshi scout shield does but thats the only one I can think of atm
