This nerf/fix/change whatever you want to call it doesnt bother me at all. I just feel sorry for all the VP and avatar guilds who have to kill lvl 86 epics and cant land shit anymore ;-)

While i mostly agree with the rest of your post about Darkor, just read the above quote from you (minus the bit i blacked out, and the class change in red) and ask yourself if this applies to you? I noticed you stopped playing Demron around the same time as Focus Aim was nerfed, and you switched to... a warlock. now granted they aren't as powerful as a brigand, but Warlocks are certainly in the top 3-4 classes.

Interesting no? Just saying, those who live in glass houses and all that.

Actually he moved over to the warlock for internal guild reasons. While the ranger did get a pretty good nerf ass wooping, that was not the reason he switch to his warlock full time.

If you noticed, he went to the warlock about the same time i went to my wizard, which i dont think anyone will be saying that the swashy got so gimped that i decided to go play the all powerful wizard. We were leveling a second guild group, it happens. Now that we each have 2 80 toons, we mix and match based on what we are doing. Group pvp, which is what we do the most of, if you had to choose between a ranger or a warlock, which would you want to bring along? I promise you none of you would take a ranger.

This has been around forever. Way way back in the day when brigands were decent, if not sub par, for pve dp. Guilds sought them for their deb-uffing abilities because of exactly this.

This side effect carried over into PvP. Have you guys not had level 20 brigands blackjacking people on contested mobs? Or blackjacking people to leach?

This is why so many people built strategies around managing brigand control effects instead of evading them. Well, at least I did.
