Re: This games PvP is just too fucked up now.
For Become; so I am taking that as NO, you don;t group PvP. So much like, faction raiding, your talking about shit you know nothing about, how very cliche for you. Get a new schick, the trick where you talk from your rectum gets old.

Yeah, I'm crying, I'm shedding an ocean of tears about a game and playstyle I love going into the shitter.

welcome to exile. where the gross imbalances of horribly designed PvP items finally become crystal clear.
seriously though, do you guys see a pattern here? someone exiles, has to fight against retarded things like PvP belts and T8 PvP gear, and they finally realize how bullshit some of this stuff is. hell, maybe they even realized that stuff, deep down, while they were still in a faction. but they were too ashamed or unwilling to say anything about it because they were using/abusing it too. it's amazing how much your opinion can change on something when you see it in an unbiased light. not having the security blanket of knowing that these overpowered items are simply XXX tokens away for you tends to make you more objective.
no one wants this game to devolve into the situation where X, Y, and Z are overpowered, therefore the only way to compete is to make sure you exploit as much of X, Y, and Z as possible. giving everyone equal access to the same unbalanced shit does not equal game balance.

Re: This games PvP is just too fucked up now.
"dispersion shit" and the RoVS are essentially "token-less" PvP gear available to everyone. while they do have limited use in PVE, they are primarily sought out for PvP purposes. i was making a commentary specifically on LFG's recent exiling and how that seemed to finally open his eyes to some of the gross imbalances in PvP (whether thats from faction PvP gear, dispersion items, or the RoVS). Arkarius had some recent comments as well (after he exiled) about the PvP belt.
my point is that its very hard to go against human nature and step back away from a situation that you're part of and fairly evaluate it. people will try to twist around their justifications for any item/mechanic to maintain any advantage they can get. it's natural to try to protect those advantages that you've been given. we all have a tendency to do it. that, however, doesn't mean that it's the right thing to do for the good of the game.

Won't it be fun when all the exiles have fabled epics and the city players can't get them?
I'm seeing 5k average damage auto attacks in the future.

This blanket statement is like saying all scouts are awesome dps and utility when they clearly aren't.
As far as I know only warlocks can further increase the proc rate of dispersion using AA, because I know my coercer cannot for sure (solo anyway)..
It also so happens that warlocks get null mail and manashield which stacks with disperion. Haven't you wondered why even th ebot warlocks are walking round with dreadnaught+ titles now? because they basically wipe solo/small grps with ease because the mechanic of having manashield + increased proc rate + disperion + null mail when they get low = OP..
Wizards are also OP because they also get manashield which stacks with dispersion .. but are not as OP as warlocks imo.
The other mages suffer from very poor defence and no tracking making all but the best canon fodder for scouts. I should know, I completely pown 95% of non-sorceror casters daily.. they really do not stand a chance if they do not have the 4 dispersion items..
That is clearly why they are very balance for non-sorcerors.. as well as adding soem flavor to their already very weak defences.

IMO you just lack at PvP and that's not meant as an insult - just a fact.
I have not had any problems killing anyone in the game so far.. I wonder why everyone else has so many problems.. sure it may take more than one go or even a grp invite, but they all die in the end..
I realise there are some items and mechanics that are clearly OP (manashield+dispersion) and the ring from chelsith does need to be toned down, but seriously, these items don't make these people litterally invincible.. (ok ms+dispersion kind of does lol)..
I hesitate to say it but L2P "LFG"...
P.S. The ring doesn't ever proc against me because I make it my aim not to die to a mage .. I don't use swarm pets against ppl i know who have the ring (tbh brigs dying because of thugs is litterally hilarious)... nor do I stand next to fallen allies after a mage stands there for 5 seconds casting "fusion" etc..
