If the devs don't want to go along with x kills = y tokens then they should at least come up with an alternative to class requirements.

My suggestion would be to gain two fame/infamy kills. So the writ would work out to be:

Kill 5 good/evil/exile
kill 2 worthy opponents

reward 5 tokens

Going by my kill:death ratio, and knowing that it's 80% or greater from soloing....i'd beg to differ. You played a troub, which for some reason, in the few times we did fight, i had trouble with. Not so much anymore, but meh, never see your druid around solo for a fight now anyhow.

I guess because i'm a ranger, i don't qualify as having any skill because we were just so easy to play and kill people with. Maybe before eof, when casters couldn't land shit, that was true. Maybe in T7 in KoS when you had your Kriptick's and Ohnoes sitting in gank spots, being a ranger was easy. There are no easy kills now for a ranger, because there isn't any real hideaway spot. At least for me, 95% of my fights are on flat ground, sometimes one on ones, mostly 2 or more after me. *I* was never a gank ranger. I have always been a scrapper, not afraid to get up in someone's face just to throw them off. I don't play chicken shit tactics like most of the fame whores, and really it's not all that easy to get kills anymore. You do need to know your class. Especially on nagafen as a soloer. And who really cares about writs. Fabled gear shouldn't be just handed out like candy anyhow.

Ranger's have the easiest kills in the game. I got killed in 2 seconds yesterday by a ranger from Purity. Auto attack hit for 2853. I'm fairly confident I'm one of the best Coercers on Nagafen, but that doesn't give me extra health or stop rangers criting for extreme amounts.

Basically, what you just wrote is complete rubbish. Resists are much worse now, and melee classes (including ranger's) are more powerful.

This is part of what is wrong with this game...what do you consider a worthy opponent? Someone around the same title as you? Why would that possibly mean anything related to being worthy. Titles are complete bullshit.

The writ system isn't horrible, but it could use some more improvement.
One of the reasons our guild went exile.
