that ratio is fine if you're talking about soloers. but consider the fact that all 6 people in the group get the update at the same time, and suddenly its 50 kills giving your team 150 tokens. that's FAR more tokens entering the game than before when they dropped in chests. you cannot ignore the multiplicative effect of being able to group or raid up and have everyone get the same update for every single kill; the devs most certainly considered this when designing the writs.
now, if you want a "Collect 50 Heads of your Enemies... Reward:25 Tokens" type writ, thats fine, but then the system must be changed so that the chance of getting the update for the writ randomly goes to only a few people in group and is low enough that a full group of 6 people isn't gaining PvP gear at a hugely accelerated rate (which is what would happen if everyone got that update on every kill) |

Haven kills count as city kills. I have about 500 of them. I also invaded both Qeynos and Freeport on many occasions to accumulate them. I'm not going to ever say that quite a few of my kills (perhaps 5-10% max) are from killing other exiles. But in that you have to include my time in DoM fighting TO, Onyx after we came to Nagafen, and Kraken/Night's Watch.
To say i didn't earn every single kill i have is complete bullshit, anyone who knows me also knows i'm not a griefer, and i'm not a grey hunter like many were when SS was unlimited zone. When you fight me, you get a straight up fight, no tricks or gimmicks, no godspells, no mez items from farming instances, just my poisons, potions and skill. If you kill me, good for you, if you died, see you again when i see you and try again.

4. No, letting people transfer for free killed it. Venekor was hopping (you know, you were there, for the first day atleast) for the entirety of that week. I had almost 30 seconds of lag time between clicking buttons and seeing stuff happen. There were multiple x4s from both factions and exile all fighting in CLs. Really though, there was no reason at all to allow free transfers. Nagafen certainly didnt need the extra population and venekor did. Free transfer was the dumbest thing SOE ever did. Come the end of the week, nothing. All gone. Venekor didn't kill itself, free transfer did.

To be honest, the only reason that DoM left Venekor is because the population there didn't want to fight anymore. You ran from our soloers, groups, and raids alike. Even for the 2 days i think it was after the merge and before transfers opened, all the raids out quickly dispersed with DoM still standing tall at the end begging for more. I got well over 1000 kills in those couple days, and probably 500 more the first week on Nagafen. VENEKOR DID NOT WANT A PVP ORIENTED EXILED GUILD. You begged us to leave and prove ourselves on the "big bad Nagafen" server. We came here, we did prove ourselves and then all the big guilds ran from us on sight after only a couple weeks again. The game grew stale and people stopped playing.
The players killed your server and pvp with it, if you want to look at it from your perspective. None of you wanted a challenge, you just want free kills and lots of gear from it. That's what all these writ threads and Kruhl's whines about epic weapons are about. I want great gear without working for it. NO ONE ON A BLUE SERVER GETS ANYTHING HANDED TO THEM, WHY SHOULD ANYONE ON A PVP SERVER GET IT?

Firstly I never once saw a member of DoM when the free transfer week was on. I fought Talendor Raiders, Purity, Grey Wolves and B E L V A K A. That was it. Since the EU servers now make up the majority of Venekor I can't see how any of us would have said "Go to Nagafen". Maybe "Who are you?".
And no none of us are saying we want great gear without working for it. We were working for it before, slowly getting up our tokens from people we killed. Now we can go out and get more kills than ever before, bigger fights than ever before and still get absolutely fucking nothing for it because nobody in that group was a ranger.
It's not fun to play like that. Not fun at all. |

I never said you didnt earn every kill, even kills in haven are usually earned by beating that person in a fair fight. I also dont have a magical crystal ball which tells me who you killed and where or how. Based on my experience in haven, I think I can say with a fair degree of accuracy that anyone who spent more than a month or two in haven has atleast 500+ kills from their guildies. There will ofcourse be exceptions.
As for the players killing PvP... lets just say i got almost 800 kills in that free-transfer week. That's almost 20% of my total kills ever... in a single week. That free transfer is what killed PvP on Venekor. It wasn't DoM leaving, it was EVERYONE leaving.
And I never ran from a solo player in DoM.... never. Hell I even attacked your groups on my own a few times... you should know, you were in one of em.
Oh and Ajjantis... DoM was a Venekor guild before they left. They were very good as far as raid PvP goes, but were only average for group and solo PvP. Nothing special unless raided.
