I'm not gonna get into the whole exile vs factions thing again, but I just had to LOL when i read this.

Time taken to finish one writ and get 5 tokens: 1 day, mostly spent hunting for that one elusive class that you just cant find. Total time spent to get 400 tokens for one piece of PvP gear: 80 days (at current rate)

Time before mythical versions of epic weapons were being discovered: 5-6 days.

You said WHAT about PvP gear being easy to get? LOL

So I made it to page 4 before some exiled scrubs started in with the "you get pvp faction gear!!!" shit yet again. And of course it's Become!
Have you looked at the "PvP Gear"? It's water-downed VP Set Gear, and blows ass at that.. Seriously wtf would a scout need 25% run speed stealthed? Everyone can fucking see stealth, it cancels in combat, wtf is the point? Oh that's right, waste a bonus that could be something more useful.

The initial RoK PvP Items were / are good granted. but what contest is that against VP-Geared exileds wielding Mythical Weapons that seem to all have DR of 120+ ?
LU42 goes to show the Devs know jack shit about PvP in their own fucking game, Willing to bet every Dev in Sony plays on PvE Servers and the QA team "tests" PvP changes with Duels.

You overestimate VP set gear. By easier I mean you can run around PvPing and get loot, whereas we take 24 focused people and raid our asses off.

While I admit that the vast majority of players suck at PvP, a scripted raid mob is infinately easier to kill than a thinking human player. Sure you have to kill it several times to get the drop, then yo u have to win the roll/DKP bid... but we don't get gear from killing just one person.

I estimate that I would need to almost triple my curent kill count to get enough tokens to buy JUST THE PVP ARMOR, no jewelery, no weapons, just the armor will require almost tripple the kills I have made since Launch.

Didn't you hear? PvP is dead until SoE care to Rez it.. and buff it with some more reasonable mechanics..

Static chests FTW!

With the effects on the jewelry, it would be nuts to buy the armor first.

I see alot of people with a mixture of raid gear and pvp gear. I think people are actually starting to think. How about caculating the time for how long it takes to get pvp gear and raiding EoF/T1/T2 to get fully fable T8 gear bet you will be geared out before most if not all exiles.

Yep, exactly. The T1-2 raid gear is exceptional in many slots for a lot of classes. For example, the scout gear coming out of those easy raid instances is exceptional and is worn over top of VP gear.

Lets have a loot at my gear, for instance. Everything I'm wearing, with the exception of 4 slots, is T1-2 or EoF gear. And technically, a better DPS/PvP setup for my class would be: T7 PvP set gloves, Mirrored Armguards (T1 loot), Mistmoore (EoF) or Overking (T2) cloaks for haste, the Pouch of the Grove in ranged (35m range vs 25 on VP pouches), and a fucking mastercrafted ring. And btw I was using most of that setup, minus the PvP gloves obviously, before switching some gear around recently.

So when I have full access to all this so called AMAZING loot, and the T1, T2, or pre-RoK stuff is still pretty much the best out there, how do you explain all the whining from the city side raiders who can just as easily get any of this stuff AND then have the incredible effects on PvP gear? Anyone care to honestly answer that question?
