Now why would SOE force people to sacrifice some of their fun in order for fun elsewhere? Why not just give everybody all the fun at the same time at the same costs ...so everybody is at least treated equally?

so wait...you mean the faction guilds have it better in everything except they can't as easily (but still can) get their mytical weapons? Dude, I think you just lost your argument right there.

And I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for that to happen if you want a Mythical epic before the next expansion.
You need to align your desires with your plans, based on the situation as it exists today. That will cause you to achieve your goals.

Anybody complaining at that point would have no right to complain. The playing field would be even, everything would be fair. If they don't want to raid to get their items, that's their fault, not the fault of Sony. Which makes it fine.

I didn't lose anything. I'm pointing out how stupid it is of SOE to give exiles such a huge advantage with getting their mythical weapons, while at the same time making it even harder to get PVP tokens for the PVP items. Most people would tell you that 24 mythical weapons in one raid is worth far far more than a few people in your raid having a few pieces of pvp gear. If I was still an exile, I'd still continue the fight for PVP armor/items as well. From that perspective, it's completely unfair of Sony to ask you to give up PVP writs/items/etc in order to raid like the PVE servers can raid.

Get rid of exile. Make all classes available on both sides. BAM, problem fixed. Everybody has PVP gear, everybody has PVP writs, everybody has access to work for their mythicals. Everybody is happy.
I have yet to see anybody make a valid argument as to why a solution would be detrimental to the game or the servers.

I have a better idea. Keep exile. Give all sides all classes, give exiles pvp things and signets. Then the people that want to FFA pvp can be in exile, and those that want it a lot safer or like to run around in ungrouped raids safely can stay in the cities.
People seem to forget that Europa caught up to Kraken(or did they not do TNT?) by the end of EoF. That was due to a desire to kill those mobs, and probably the skill of the players. If they stuck around this expansion, I have no doubt that they would either be in VP now, or be damn close. And that's without any Q classes.
It can be done. You just have to work at it, like exile raiders all work hard for it. If we took some sissy kinda sorta method to raiding like a lot of the city folk posting here do, we would get approximately the same result- nowhere close to as far as we are now.
Whining about what another guild can do won't help your guild kill any faster. What I'd do in your shoes if you really want your mythical that bad is start by clearing Protectors Realm. I mean come on, if your guild can't even clear T1, you don't deserve mythical weapons under any circumstances whatsoever.

Exiles have a slight advantage due to classes. You can stop saying "huge" like it's some sort of mantra... loudly and continuously proclaiming (without providing any kind of worthwhile class comparison argument to back it up) that not having 8 classes available to you is the reason that your guild can't progress through content isn't going to convince anyone. Saying something over and over doesn't make it true... even on the internet, which is filled with morons.

Oh would they? Who are these people? Are you just making claims and then pretending that the majority agrees with you because you think it makes your argument sound more viable?
Are you seriously claiming that most people in city factions would agree to have all PvP gear removed from the game if it was replaced by the ability to get mythical weapons easier? No more amazing reactive control effects, no more Veeshan's Peak-quality Fabled gear that you can obtain solo. Yeah, right, you keep believing that. You're in the vast minority here, bud, but you'll never admit that.
When I see the population of exile jump from ~150 to over 500, then the people will have spoken and backed up your claims.

Why do you assume that exiles want these items? We made a conscious choice to leave the benefits of a city behind to go join the other serious raiders... who happened to have migrated to exile. We raid for our gear, and while that's a fuckload of work, we don't want the ruleset changed to give us full access to PvP armor because WE ALREADY HAVE EQUIVALENT RAID GEAR.
PvP writs are a different story, and I already made a very long post about that in a thread here a few weeks ago. I truly wish they'd force all 3 factions to balance out by having each city writ require, say, 5 people from the opposite city, and 3 exiles (whereas exile writs would require 4 from each original city). Remove the specific classes from writs, but keep the multi-faction requirement there.

Everyone brings up Europa when talking about faction raiding, but they leave out to very important factors in the Europa success story. Firstly, Europa got thru the EoF content just before Kunark came out. I mean it was at the very end of EoF. Secondly and even more important, several key encounters were severely nerfed before they completed them. Why does everyone leave that out? In retrospect I don't consider Europa killing nerfed encounters as proving a whole lot!

Even though I'm a factioned player, I really agree with you. So many cry babies it's unreal. The epics are freaking amazing and harder to get for factions, but that gives us a *gasp* challenge!
Suck it, whiners.

Get. The. Fuck. Out.
Dumbest. Idea. EVER.
This would mean i go from getting 15 tokens for my last 120 kills down to getting 0 tokens for an unlimited ammount of kills. Whether you PvP or not, you have absolutely no fucking idea about the writs because you're an exile, so do everyone in a faction a favour and STFU about things you don't have any experience with.
Things that may work fine on Nagafen would basically remove ALL PvP gear from Venekor and/or Vox. Think about shit like that before you go spouting this drivel.
Oh and once again, your opinion on writs is worth less than the dog shit on the bottom of your boots. TY and have a nice day.

Why do I think a lot of exiles would like PVP armor? Because I was an exile for a long time and I know what people said, and I've seen it in the forums too. I'd take 24 mythicals in one raid any day over a few random people with a few random pvp pieces. Just my personal opinion.
