I don't think either guild gets annihilated in raid PvP. Most can agree that when you guys don't hide immunity, there are good fights to be had. We will usually fight even if we don't have the best set up (like the last time in TS we got by with 4 healers in the raid due to LDs). Regardless though, Kraken is always up for PvP and surprisingly not just when we have an 88 x4 on us.

So it's gone from Onyx being best pvpers / raiders to now getting owned by Kraken everywhere it seems. Apparently they suck though because they take a long time to get ready, but it's still interesting to see.

One dude logs off his main onto a warlock and suddenly Kraken has like 9 warlocks floating around or something. I wish.

Should we bring up the fight in Butcherblock a few days ago where an x4 of Kraken had a flawless victory against an x5+ of Onyx? (even with us giving you a good 15-20 seconds of notice as we paused around the corner in track range) You want to explain that crazyness, please? =)

Flawless victory after already dying at least TWICE? If you keep coming back, you'll eventually get something. Then what happened after this "flawless victory"? Oh, Kraken called out~

We had 5 healers at start, then Eximo went LD as the fight began and left a group with no healer. Losing a critical healer like a warden when you're already low on healing is not good juju. It was actually the best (longest and closest) fight we've had in awhile. However, raid PvP is a battle of attrition, and when one group is without a healer and you only have 4 left overall in the raid, the small cracks start to become holes, and the dam eventually breaks.

Onyx getting "owned" is a reference to you guys running back to Haven and sitting inside there instead of fighting us again after Eximo came back. Fuck the avatar, fuck the numbers present, we just wanted some PvP and you guys sat on the opposite side of that zoneline like little bitches. I'd call that "owned" anyday. That's twice now in recent weeks (VP doors being the other time you refused to fight).

We'll fight any Onyx raid any time. We're probably not going to be bringing more than 25-26 people (~31 unique accounts in guild kind of limits you), and I really don't care if you guys have an x7. We'll still fight, and one day when we win against those odds, it'll be all the sweeter. You guys better reevaluate what the fuck you're doing as a guild, because it's embarassing and pathetic.

I'm not making excuses about losing that single fight in TS. I'm just pointing out the fact that when we did get those LD people back, Onyx was nowhere to be found - or exactly, sitting in immunity in Haven. Sure, we lost, but several Onyx members shot me a tell saying that we put up a fight for what we had. We'll fight without a stacked setup or several extra groups for an advantage.

The difference between our guilds is that when the shit talking starts, one guild is in immunity waiting for an x2 advantage and the other is willing and ready for a fight. You will not find Kraken hiding.

Onyx brought an x4+ an x2 of block bitches, we had our usual x4 (60 exiles in zone - 24 kraken - 1 dead galrath'avatarwatcher- 1 random exile watching = 36 onyx). I don't expect to win every fight against those kind of odds, and I certainly don't expect to survive getting rushed when we have a contested mob like Tangrin or an avatar on our raid. I do enjoy raid PvP in general though, and I'll fight no matter what the odds.

However, having your x6 lose to a flawless victory against an x4 must be.... a little embarassing? That wasn't the first time Kraken's has a no-death raid PvP fight against Onyx with less #'s either. That's something remarkable, and it doesn't say much for Onyx when you can outgun us by 30-50% and still get utterly annihilated sometimes. =)
