I'd give up all my PVP items and armor for the mythical item, personally.

I probably would too. Instance gear goes just as well, if not better, in alot of those slots. No instanced weapon can be compared to those epics, though.

I do enjoy raid PvP in general though, and I'll fight no matter what the odds.

However, having your x6 lose to a flawless victory against an x4 must be.... a little embarassing? That wasn't the first time Kraken's has a no-death raid PvP fight against Onyx with less #'s either. That's something remarkable, and it doesn't say much for Onyx when you can outgun us by 30-50% and still get utterly annihilated sometimes. =)
Oh, right, we're clinging onto 1 fight again, aren't we? GG Mr. PvP

/shrug, we had people afk'ing while Finks was logging over and we were rushed by your raid. we had every intention to fight (which jeramir shouted immediately to the zone after the evac), but it honestly wouldn't have been any fun to get thwomped in 45 seconds because we weren't ready.

And I don't call that last fight "dying horribly". We lost, but it was the longest fight our guilds have had in a long time, and we were in a horrible situation with our healing setup to begin with. Like Dav said, multiple Onyx members sent us tells giving us props for how well we did with what we had... and other Onyx were sending our officers tells a few minutes grumbling about being forced to sit in immunity inside Haven while the Kraken raid was waiting outside and calling you guys out just to get some PvP going instead of dicking around with lame ass "we're going to wait until there's a L88x4 on you and then wipe you" tactics.

Like I said, you guys have got some pretty embarassing shit going on as a guild lately. My better instinct is to just keep quiet about it instead of flaming you all the time, and just let you eventually slowly crumble under the accumulated weight of your own mistakes, but then we wouldn't have any real competition and its always been the prospect of a good arms race that has fueled the engines of war. =)

I remember the one time Krakken has beaten us in Raid PVP since Avatars are back in game -- what did they do? Oh that's right they went into immunity in Haven.

So then Onyx does the same thing-- and what does Krakken do--they bitch about what they do!!!

Just for the record Krakken was the guild first to win a fight and then take the ball home back into Haven.

We just followed the new rules you guys made up, how you can't see that is pretty hilarious.

And you would be less successful in PvP because of it. If you don't think 20% reactive deaggro/fear procs are god-like when you're a scout and trying to burn someone down with a flurry of attacks, you should try constantly PvP'ing against them when you don't have those items yourself.

You get jesus-like reactive effects, extremely solid weapons and jewelry, and set armor which is equivalent or exceeds Veeshan's Peak set gear in PvP. All of which is obtainable solo (for some classes) or in groups.

QQ dude, you won't get any sympathy from exiles.

oh, and PSSSST, here's a little secret: there's nothing stopping you from killing VP mobs except... you.

Get a clue, Onyx didn't get owned.

Onyx has been getting owned this entire expansion, at least that's the impression you guys are leaving and the reputation you now have after all the smack talk you did in EoF.

No, there's a huge difference here that you're too stubborn to admit to. Kraken ported out of BB after most of Onyx had already left the zone (except a few stragglers, your x2, left behind to give the illusion of an avatar block threat) and we went to continue our raids for that night.

Onyx, however, scampered back away from the avatar in Steppes after fighting us and hid inside Haven, waiting for Kraken to take another pull on the avatar so you guys could jump out and wipe us. We weren't there to take another pull though, we were there to fight you. And we sat there at the haven entrance and saw what Onyx is really made of. To call on one of Shax's mighty witticisms: "Grats on being horrible."
