No one is going to kill an avatar on Nagafen in T8 unless someone else isn't even putting forth a modicum of effort to contest. These mobs are serious assbeaters now, and the fights are naturally bordering on the very knife edge of critical instability. Add in any kind of semi-serious block attempt on a contested pull and it's over.

T8 contested is going to be one big circle-jerk stalemate as long as all parties involved continue to put forth just a teeny bit of time and energy to hamper the other side.

you know what would put this argument to rest....Karken/Onyx, since it's all farm sattus now anyway, please do VP one night with only one sides classes. You've probably done this already just by random luck, but take a screeny and show the fucking mobs dead with your raid setup. Then there will be no argument

Sure there will. People will bitch that we are using better gear than what is available to FP or Q because we already have it.

There is no end to this stupid argument of why the FP and Q cities aren't raiding end game content b/c everyone's individual perception is their personal truth.

Eh, I proposed this to our officers, but in the end Kraken doesn't have the roster size to pull this off... we run 32 unique accounts, 9 of which are Qeynos classes (& also mains) ... we couldn't even fill a raid with just non-Q's anyway. We did do Overking once with an all FP main tank group because we had no templars on, and I think 3-4 Q classes (paladin, illy, someone else), but it's easily doable with an all FP raid for sure. Never tried it with a Q-heavy raid /shrug. Ask Onyx, they have the roster to support trying shit like that. =)

But then again, the naysayers will still claim it's our gear that's carrying us through... the same EoF and T1/2 gear they have... ;)

it is both, the guilds in factions arent hardcore.... at all. period. sur eu can say oh yeh we only recruit decent players... bullshit... look at eternal they tried to be uber, every single perosn in their guild seems like a retard when it comes to pvp, except kruhl hes good.
my guild purity will never be hardcore raid guild cos we dont have a hardcore player base, even if we did have all the classes, we still wudnt clear VP bcos our guild isnt dedicated enough...in other words....people dont care wtf w ekill they log in bcos theyre part of the guild they go to bed at the end not giving a fuck.
u need 24 poeople who want to be the best, and will asign in every night.

and that's always been the crux of the issue.

Kruhl is in the vast, vast minority on his side of this argument, but he won't ever accept the fact that he's wrong and open his eyes to what needs to be done to get what he wants. instead, he'll devote all of his energy to whining about how unfair this game is and how he's being held down under the iron hand of oppression by the devs in one form or another. imagine what he could do if he put all that time and energy into building and leading his own raid guild with 26-30 other like-minded "hardcore" raiders?

can't wait for Insurrection to get into VP and embarass the rest of the server. =) Overking should die to them soon, Venril is not hard (the mechanics of the fight, anyway), Leviathan remains the only difficult roadblock but that's hard even for PVE guilds now.
