Default Raiding in FP and Qeynos

I see this point come up all the time about cities being held back from pve success because of a lack of classes and I think it's bullshit and a lame excuse to cover up their lack of a brain and/or skill. What does everyone else think?

It's a delicate mix of both.

Biggest problem is, people in factions tend to want to pvp more.
We (Europa) more or less proved, that it could be done in EoF, but it's no secret, that we overall had the best raids we could get together to do it.
I know for EU times, it's hard to just find 24+ players that want to raid as much as is basically needed to advance at a proper speed.

It can be done, the deck is just stacked a bit more against you, and lots of faction people would rather pvp, than learn a tough encounter.

That poll was more stupid than any raid attempt ever made on the server, but I'm sure a lot of exiled folks will love it and vote #1. Have fun with that.

That said, Fooflehag is the only person so far who is somewhat close to accurately describe the situation.

It's a mixture if you ask me. With enough time and dedication either faction can handle this task. It'd be alot EASIER to do with all the classes, though.

Compared to the way fights go, at least on the Qeynos side, having FP classes in our raids would trivialize every encounter we have beaten so far. Having those FP classes would also make every encounter ahead far far easier. Shit I just want 1 Brigand in group with me for 1 raid, we'll see how much higher the DPS is raid wide then.

Here is what I wonder about. I see Exileds all the time talking about how either Faction could successfully raid all the end-game content no problem etc. etc. and also bitching about not being able to get the PvP gear. If you bluebie hole fucknuts actually believed both of those things then you wouldn't still be hanging around in Haven now would you?
And you can't fall back on the "for more PvP" thing, as I can list the people I've seen from any guild in Haven out pvping with any consistency at all and believe me it would be a very short list compared to the number of people in each Guild in Haven or even in Haven period.

I've been there, sat in FP looking at an 18 man raidforce, with more than 24 guildmates online, but still waiting for the right people. You know, the ones that actually knows what the fuck raiding means?
Banging my head on Wuoshi over and over again, because that day, like many other days, we didn't have the right 24 people with us.

There's been allmost no city-aligned guild that raided successfully.
Having been in one that did, I feel quite confident when I say, it ain't the fucking missing classes.

You want a brig for what? More dps? FP wants some 'lock+pala action or some illy love. Guess what? It's gonna work anyways.
History has proven it, and I'm sure Insurrection is next in line.

Sure.. city-aligned guilds will eventually get there, but there's definetly something in having access to all classes. Brigand is a perfect example, since with their debuffs, they can bring raid-wide dps up a notch. Instead of having 2 defilers who cant stack debuffs, you can have a defiler and a mystic who can debuff more .. you can have an inquistor for verdict (yeah, I know.. its only 2%, but hell, we wiped Overking at 5 today.. 3 more and we would have won.. a Q raid would have taken 5 more)

There's retards everywhere. Exile guilds are just lucky enough that a lot of those retards tend not to want to deal with the hassle of being exiled just to raid, so they get a smaller % of them. So the city guilds get lumped with them. Of course, Insurrection is retard-free (except for Daarkstar...but dont tell him that ;P)
