You misunderstood me and then made yourself look dumb. We're only talking about PVP here..making it so rangers could auto attack and use CA's from 0 meters is horribly overpowering. Since you don't PVP, you wouldn't know that.

You followed up with something along the lines of- "It's not overpowering, except maybe in PVP." Well, we're only TALKING ABOUT PVP here...so ...why even make that statement? Pointless statement of the century right there.

my main point is this nerf is mostly thanks to pvp - which you guys like to deny pvp is responsible for anything bad in pve.

Wow, do I have to explain this one to you?

Because after a month or two, there would be a LOT more than just a few rangers using the weapon. Might as well nip the problem in the butt now before it gets out of hand. Just because not a lot of rangers have the epic bow yet doesn't mean it's not overpowered. Making a correlation there would be wrong.

I've never denied such things. Maybe others have, but I haven't. I agree with you completely about this. In fact, it's usually the opposite. Sony has traditionally made most changes with only PVE in mind...then it completely screws up the PVP servers, and takes 6 months before it even attempts to be fixed. So, while your complaint is legitimate, I'd say PVP servers have even more of a right to complain about this.

Yea just like they nipped the arrow problem in the butt. Hmmm I seem to remember the Brigand PVP chestplate used to be overpowered for months before that got to finally nerfing it. Bet you got many pvp kills out of that. Nerfing something before it even is tested in pvp is outrageous. Just like the fact ammo still bows even after 3 months, your class can use bows too why don't you make a cry thread about that too.

Walk the plank, clock, dispatch, eye point thingy, blue bar thingy, knife with purple hilt one, blood rake, battery and assaul, double up, dead before they are not stunned, min range or not~

Not to mention the ranged stun. Wish I had a CA that stunned or rooted someone from 35m.

I didn't realize our 2.5 sec range stun was causing so much consternation, damn. I've always been more pissed off about the massive amount of snares that ranger/swash can drop from range. Being heavily snared is essentially the same as being rooted in most situations (especially if you're staying at range to attack like rangers and swash can). Every scout gets 1 or more snares from CA's. Preds/rogues all get some kind of extra ranged control effect. Oh, and fettering poison is still uncurable. I think the brigand's single 2.5 sec stun should be among the least of people's worries. =)

No shit. Kruhl is a whiney little puss that wants easy mode on every single kill. If he thinks it won't happen, he'll safehouse away and wait for another day.

Brigs are the most overpowered class in the game. How do I know that? I kill every single other class... and 18/24 classes I kill them in <10 seconds.

Boohooo.. Kruhl is a whiney bitch. Go play a guardian on pvp then talk some shit about classes being out of balance.
