Anyone know what the reasoning was for items going from 3-4k resist on individual pieces of armor to 1-2k?

(I'm on a PvP server, playing an 80 Temp, observing the changes in pvp as well as itemization.)

I think he means the total resists equaling 3-4k.

But seriously, resists are terrible atm, you don't need anymore of them.

Could you be more specific and/or provide some links? I'd like to know more, I've heard people talk about this but not 'seen' anything solid.

Well It not uncommon for me to get 3-5 resists in a row in most fights. Thats against anything from blue cons to yellow cons.

Got oneshotted by a wizard standing at sokokar post spamming Fission, and that was before he even rendered on my screen. Please make resists more viable at PvP, 'cause I don't like getting oneshotted as a healer at 8k HP and 9k resists.
