Exile faction wasn't even supposed to be permanent, yet when it became obvious SoE wasn't going to do anything about it guilds started exiling. On Venekor, the first guild to do this was DoM, and they did it for the PVP for a few months. Later on, they were just a majoirty raid guild, and pvp'd when not raiding (unless we count griefing Transcendent Order out of all their raiding, good times.)

It's pretty retarded that a brigand or an assassin can't live in Qeynos and be a citizen. SK or Necro I can understand for lore purposes, but none of the other classes really make sense to me. The same goes for Templar / Pally living in FP,but that's somewhat feasible lore wise.

I think Acolas is a stupid fame whore, but agree with the change he wants to make. It'd make PVP alot more fun, would make raiding a little easier (since exiles say it only increases it marginally it's not a big deal having all classes I guess), and those who want FFA can stay in exile, if that's why they are really there.

that's the excuse exiles having been using for a long long time lfg.. and you have been indoctrinated into believing that or are using it as an excuse yourself too

and the EPIC has nothing to do with it for me personally.. i don't even have my heroic epic, i don't want to waste peoples time getting it... my mythical is pretty damn shite...

the main reason is to stop the server dying...

and with regards to mythical weapons... althoughi am not a hardcore raider... it doesn't take much sense to notice that a full raid of exiles with mythical weapons will gear up and smash through content soooo fast, that they will be kitted out very very very fast indeed..
not to mention the OP of the weapons in PVP which will also kill the server


how many people have exiled in the last week or 2?

another solution i believe is create another server with those rules i stated in the first post and maybe make it free for all too....

It's completely retarded that there's an Exile faction. It's one of the core reasons I've never played on Nagafen. Good or Evil.. no inbetween, period, it ruins the whole experience.

And admit it LFG, you'd love to be back in Freeport. I'm actually shocked you went Exile.

I like to raid, I like to PVP, and as you know, I even like to craft.

One of my favorite times in EQ2 was at the beginning, when I was the Gnomish Ambassador of Crafting on Blackburrow. But when the crafting system became completely hosed near the beginning of DOF, and it really became no longer possible to play EQ2 as someone mostly interested in the crafting/market game, I moved on to raiding.

But then I became bored of just raiding, and came to Nagafen as a last ditch effort to rekindle my interest in this game. And I'm glad I did - being on Nagafen is like getting twice the game for the same money.

So I really still like to raid, in addition to the frosting on the cake that PVP adds. I've always been in a top raid guild, and that's why I went to Exile, because that's where Onyx is. I would not be happy in EQ2 playing in a less capable guild.

It's true that EQ2 is more fun when you can live in and call to a city. There is so much more to do in a city, the atmosphere is much different and better than the cramped Exile cave, where things like T8 fuel cost 1.66 g each instead of 1 g each in the cities.

If I were able to be in Onyx and change my residence from the Exile cave to Freeport, I'd do that in a second. But I can't have it all, so I'm not going to spend my time complaining about that.

Someday, perhaps the people bitching about not being able to buy a Mythical on the city faction vendor will realize they are more likely to get one from raiding than from a high EQ2Flames post count.
