If any of you city faction dudes think that raid gear (specifically VP gear, the stuff that faction guilds currently haven't progressed into yet) is >>>superior in PvP, you're delusional. The T8 legendary gear is far superior in most slots... the procs and reactive effects are much more important for PvP. I have a macro that switches out much of my shiny T8 raid loot for the legendary crap when I PvP... and why? Because having some extra HP may be nice for raids, but it's not worth sacrificing all those procs/reactive effects for in PvP.
Any city side raid guild that can clear T1/2 has access to virtually all of the solid raid loot in RoK. Combine that with the legendary and heroic instance fabled gear that everyone also gets, and there's literally only a handful of items left that only Onyx/Kraken have access to that are worth wearing in PvP over something else. And should we bring PvP jewelry/armor into the equation? Stuff that's obtainable WITHOUT sustaining the infrastructure of a hardcore raid guild?
Also, if you think that just by exiling you magically get crazy amounts of loot drop into your lap, I INVITE YOU TO EXILE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF. Sustaining an aggressive raid schedule in a hardcore raiding guild is no picnic.
Oh, and the newly upgraded VP dragons? The first wing dragons (Nexona/Druushk) are now monsters, truly epic in scale, and are bringing most of the "hardcore" PVE raid guilds worldwide to their knees. VP loot or mythical epics aren't freebies.
