Exile Instancing? - Page 3

I imagine that SOE never intended Haven to be quite so popular as a perm. place of residence, QH lag is bad enough and that has multiple instances, should be no reason for Haven not to as well.

Just curious, I heard a lot of people been exiling. Anyone now how many full guilds moved over to exile after last update? Or just a lot of random people going?

I know on Vox with my kick ass system, when the two exile guilds are forming up to raid the lag is unbearable. We almost have to form up in Thundering Steppes just so we can read text as we chat... and that's only with 60-70 people in Haven. I can imagine Naggy is much worse.

Why are you so bent out of shape about the fact that we aren't able to take fame from eachother? Most people dislike the current fame system, and we've ended up with a way to (at least in some very specific situations) not have to worry about it when we PvP.... and this is a bad thing now? WTF?

How is this hurting your gameplay experience in the least bit?

Slayn is perhaps even more distracted and delusional from his irrational hatred than Kruhl, which is saying a lot. Lots of adolescent angsty whining without any kind of basis in fact, little or no logical reasoning present in his arguments, etc etc.

The best course of action is to just mentally shove people like this off to the side and ignore them, while keeping solace in the fact that MMORPG developers are actually educated, intelligent people and want what's best for their game... in stark contrast to the whiny, arrogant kids who lurk around and think that the simple payment of a subscription fee somehow entitles them to have their own personal virtual world ruleset where everything goes according to THEIR plan. =)

I really dont like this idea, I for one like Haven more than any city in the game because of the lack of instances. And anyone that thinks exile is easy mode, definitely has not been exiled. TRy to solo pvp, I dare you. In the time I have been in exile I have racked up about 300 kills and 70 deaths, granted without running. In a faction that would be about 100 kills and maybe 5 deaths.

well, i think there is value in being able to fight your guildies in a non-threatening setting, for practice, testing, or w/e

remove the fame system all together, or make it fair for all,

if we MUST deal with the fame system, then EVERYBODY should have to deal with the fame system, you kill someone, or someone kills you there's fame involved, why is it different with the exiles killing each other?

you chose a FFA PVP environment for better raiding and FFA PVP, those in that environment should gain or lose fame for all their happy PVP against one another with ZERO consequences

or, meet in the middle, and at least make the arenas actual pvp rules set, issue resolved, sorta, at least we'd be able to practice against one another to become stronger as a faction, we'd still be missing half the classes though

How ae you complaining about classes as a Q? Qeynos has the better end of the faction deal, freeport gets shafted on a lot of counts. The only class that could really make a big deal to you guys is a brigand, while freeport has to contend with templars/illys.

p.s. each faction is not missing "half of the classes", you are missing 8, or 1/3 of the classes...

...7 of which are irrelevant to each faction

Just ignore Zexxi, he's been crying about this for over a year now. Exiles don't fight each other to *hone their skills*. They fight each other because they can, fame loss or not. Alot of the time when an exile kills another its out of spite or over something worth more than fame you brainless git.
