There we go. A viable 3 faction system will flow forth... especially with the number of people who've recently exiled (4+ major guilds in exile atm).

That's dumb, and most of the exiles just got there. In another couple weeks they'll disapear like most exiles do after alittle time in Haven.

Where's your data to back this up? It's simply untrue. Don't make sweeping statements like this without some kind of reference to back it up.

If you think exiles in a hardcore raid guild are more reclusive than cityside players in a hardcore raid guild, you're delusional. ANYONE who raids 5-6 nights a week, either in a city or in exile, is not going to have as much time to PvP as much as a casual raider or non-raider... that's quite obvious.

If you're trying to make the comparison that exiles in a full time hardcore raid guild don't PvP as much (per capita) as someone in a cityside semi-hardcore raid guild, you may have finally stumbled onto the reason why these city guilds aren't progressing through raid content like the exiles are. Something we've been saying all along. ;)

Bottom line: exiling for the FFA PvP still remains a viable choice, but many people don't want to take it for reasons unknown to me.

Inc sweeping statement.

That writ may sound fair and well to you become, however, the only time I have EVER seen exiles out since people started getting to 80 in RoK is in a completely stacked group, except for the one of two DH groups that we fought the other night, and even that is not very often.

Now, considering most of my guildies and I will go out in a less than stacked group, often times with no tank or 1 healer, how do you propose we kill the required exiles?

Maybe if you guys would leave the hole in less than a hugely stacked group more than 3-4 times a week I could see exiles being a requirement, but until then no thanks.

What about that system :

1/ Calculate the average of writs completed by Qs and FPs out of immunity 5 hours or more a day.

2/ Calculate the amount of time an exiled raiders get a piece of gear in average. (assuming he raids at least 5 hours a day 6/7)

3/ Get the right amount of token per writs so it could be fair.

No update on exile, you guys will only be out to prevent cities to get tokens.

If the average is 1 piece of gear a week for an exiled player, and the average writ completed a week is 10, make a writ give 40 tokens.

Fair enough... and let s just see how many exiled are coming back in the following weeks.

Since when did "Risk vs Reward" mean "Time Spent In Game = Reward"?

Do you guys have any understanding of MMO development and balance?

Clever. Maybe just because Time spent/reward is associated with the pleasure to play and the wish to spend money on a subscription. But maybe the "mmo development and balance" is above the most elementary laws of business.

We are customers, remember? Wait, maybe you see MMo only like a painfull addiction?

-- btw if you want risk/reward to be implemented let's open up raid zones, Qs and Fps x10 inc --

LoL I will call bullshit on that last line there right now.

Would be funny as shit if they opened up raid zones. Then you fame whoring factions would never raid at all and have even more to bitch about. Exile guilds would decimate any chances of raiding you had at that point.

It would make for some fun contested raiding all around though.

although the mechanics of the underlying game engine don't in any way support it, i am all for opening up instanced raid zones for 24v24 PvP.

like Hael said, after the first or second time you dumbasses got violated and lost some precious infamy, you'd go running back to the overworld zones with your tails between your legs. and that's not even considering the fact that Kraken or Onyx could zone into your raid instances too. the carnage would be immense.

with the exception of Europa pulling together an x4 of their guild + some random FP's when Kraken was pulling Valor a few months ago, I have never seen a serious attempt by a city faction to contest ANY of Kraken's or Onyx's pulls on contested mobs. at best a group or two will halfheartedly try once or twice, fail, lose fame, and go home crying. what makes you think you scared little shits would suddenly grow some balls if the Raid v Raid PvP was being held inside an instance instead? =)

On Venekor I've seen exiles three times in the last two months.. One solo who evac'd, and two x4 raids going through Sebilis.

It should be a writ that is accompanied by many, other writs.
