Tangarth has rogue fever again (and on PVP no less) and is starting back on pvp, however, i'm doing qeynos this time, so I was wondering if anyone wanted to trade some cash across between nektulos-nagafen, I honestly just want money to buy carbonite so i'm not longer a pincushion (that is right now like 7-1)

Noob questions go, how do titles work?
With a heavier lower level population than most servers, what's a good ts to be, if any?
Is staying on qeynos side worth it for faction items? exile seems dumb to me
Where do I get pvp writs, and is there any other way to get totems?
Which dev made the faction items? (becuase holy shit they're all fantastic)

was there still money that 'play pvp fund'? I gave the money away to two new peeps before when I decided to use the slot for a Q toon

If you kill someone that is equal to your current title, 1 above it or 1 below then you gain a fame hit. At the same time if you die to someone in your current fame range, you take a hit. Titles are 100% meaningless though so dont stress them.

Faction items are pretty amazing, there are tons more advantages to starting and staying in a city. If you ever consider exiling, I strongly suggest waiting until you're max level. Although of the active pvpers on nagafen, I can safely say that a large portion of the better active pvp players are in exile imo.

I think you can pvp writs inside Qeynos Harbor but I'm not sure. I know in T8 there is a writ giver in Kylong Plains on the docks. Totems can only be crafted, purchased, traded, or looted from dead players.

Which dev made the faction items? (becuase holy shit they're all fantastic)

No idea but they're pretty amazing. All pvp jewelry and weapons are much much better for pvp (no shit) than anything that comes from a raid zone. The only thing better from what I've seen are the newly introduced mythicals but I dont think anyone is getting those soon with the VP changes they've made recently.

be an alchie imo.... u will make shit tonnes of money from all the scouts on the server needed poisons/pots etc.

kill people in your title range, so 1 title below, same rank, or 1 title above to increase your fame. its goes like hunter > slayer > destroyer > champion > dreadnaught etc etc

definitly stay in Qeynos, even though there is a million swashies already, in qeynos you can kill noobs like arkarius and salsa in exile and get really nice pvp items, also you can raid non-easymode

I have a question also, I started both an evil toon (level 23) and a goodie (level 22) and the level of pvp is staggeringly one sided. Both have been in the same zones (TD, DLW, Antonica, CL, Nek, TS) and the evil toon has had a grand total of 21 pvp encounters and the goodie has had 146 and he's more then a full level behind the evil one. Is this faction disparity the same for the rest of the tiers? Just curious.

I found that there were more Qs than FPs at the lower levels, but a much higher number of Qs than FPs at the higher levels. Leveling a FP between the high 60s in 80s is much like being a pinata.

People on both sides claim there is more on the other side, and it has always been this way. You just get ganked a lot in t6-t8 because those zones are unlimited and it seems that there is an opposite faction wherever you turn.
It is a great place for higher lvls to get easy fame, so it is easy pickings at that lvl from both sides.

There are definitely more FP than Qs in the lower tiers. I used to have a fury that I farmed SH with on the Q side but had to delete him cause I never got anything done. Rolled a bruiser that is pretty much a permanent fixture in there now and I can farm fine. There are usually a few Qs in there, but nothing I can't kill a few times and send em packing.
