lol i thought i did...when i pointed out we could only consistently beat bards and other summoners. It was supposed to be tongue in cheek :P

So I should just re-roll now? I mean does this game have a history of lots of buffs and nerfs, do they fix things like this or do they just not care?

If you want to have it easy and be uber, then no, summoner is not for you at this point.

Which caster class is the most uber for PvP? I have a strong preference for casters and don't want to play melee if possible.

necros aren't "broken", so there's not going to be a "fix". every class isn't supposed to be incredibly powerful 1v1. the game is balanced around the classes all having utility in a full 6 man group, so don't expect to be amazing solo too.

with that said, sorcerers and enchanters all do pretty well in solo PvP, take your pick. illusionist or warlock would likely be the best 1v1 choice.

warlock or illusionist is by far the best pvp caster there is... one has tons and tons of dps with decent survivability (manashield nullmail) and one has lots of dps and crowd control less survivability

For weakest solo pvp classes it is pretty much unquestionable it goes in this order, dirge, necro, coercer, conj. While some of these classes are good in group pvp, if your playing any of these solo, just expect to be fighting an incredibly large uphill battle and avoid them like the plauge.

Warlocks, illus, and wizards are quite powerful as mages go.

Just perspective, im running to terens, I see an even con necro, I ranged ca, 2 4-7 hundred damage hits and a stun and ranged auto attack and bam hes dead.
