Why rangers should be crying over bow nerf - Page 5

with the way melee hit rates are the bow hit rates should be scaled up too but they arent bows are hitting as hard as they were in t7 and thats it they are putting out t7 dmg they hit for 2k in pvp in t7 and they hit for 2k in pvp in t8... when you go up 10 lvls and your gear and stats go up considerably isnt your dmg supposed to go up?

melee hits in pvp are hitting for about 1-1.5k PVP with 4 second delay weapons
ranged hits in pvp are hitting for about 1.5 - 2k PVP with a 9 second dealy bow

1.5k for 4 second delay and 2k for 9 second delay doesnt sound right

melee dmg has almost doubled from t7 to t8 in pvp and the ranged damage has stayed the same, if melee has doubled to hit for 1.5k shouldnt the bow damage double? or atleast get upgraded a little maybe 3k pvp dmg instead of 2...

t7 dmg is fine for the whiny ranger right become? oh yea thats right your a brig and your melee is working as intended...

mages are hitting a ton harder, rogues and assassins are hitting a ton harder but rangers are still hitting the same, yet they took out focus aim too =\

Nobody wants your pity, your fucking stupid as hell. How the fuck are we not gimped in pvp???? Are you fucking serious, if T7 bows do more damage than T8 bows how is that not gimped. Why don't you use all your T7 CA's since that basically the same thing. Our primary means of damage is auto attack not CA's why would having the same damage as the previous tier not be gimped? Don't know about you if you had T7 CAs at lvl 80 I would call you gimped. In pve and pvp rangers are gimped. Havoc and Segmented Serrator seem to be doing quite well for you. Rigid scale bow which I've had since september just seems to be so awesome that I've decide to just bag dragonhawk and eagles talon just for the fuck of it.

While Jamilia was hitting people for 2k, I was hitting people for 3k and 4k, While you were crying about Ghostly bow of beylze on venny, people on naggy taking 3k and 4k autoattacks from RSB and Star Darkened. Shows the difference between the 2 servers doesn't it.

hey i play on venekor and i own the 5 different people i fight every day because they are completely horrible at the game. GO me rangers are the best!

I think what a lot of people fail to realize is that a Rangers reuse timers are so long, you will find yourself using auto-attacks in fights where you encounter multiple people in a short period of time.

I'll explain it in a PvE setting for someone like Ajjantis.

You're pulling mobs, I use all of my bow CAs on the first mob, I'll only have one, or two CAs up for the second mob, depending on speed of kill, and half of my CAs will be useable on the third mob. If I use no bow CAs after the first mob, all of them will be up for the fourth mob, except Sniper Shot which I usually reserve for names.

Now apply that to PvP, especially if the population is heavy.

My Warlock on the other hand will always have his spells up, and as always out performs any damage capabilities my Ranger could ever do. Even at level 70, he out damaged my Ranger, at level 77 now he far surpasses anything I could ever expect from my Ranger. In a very tough four on six fight, we beat the odds, looked at the parse and I had parsed more than 80k damage on my Warlock against the other groups two druids healing for over 50k each.

I do everything right on my 80 Ranger and lose a one on one fight in PvP, then go out with my 77 Warlock and smoke that same person who beat my 80 Ranger.

You are rambling alot about swashys, what has that to do with rangers?
A ranger can kill people in 5 seconds, a brigand can, a swashy can and even an assassin can. Good warlocks and wizards can do that too. Its not much of a class thingi but more timing, organisation and skills.
If a ranger gets the jump on a brigand, the brigand will die quickly too mate.

That's not true, a good Brigand will not die to a Ranger, ever. There is no way a Brigand should be suprised. Well you might.

And a Warden in your guild in Enchanted Lands did cure my fettering poison.. I was laughing so hard at the fact it could be cured, I forgot to kill him, and died.

He cured it twice.
