Both sides have very nice crowd control classes. Freeport however does not have anything even remotely close to Sanctuary.

No most fear doesn't last long, but enough, to get time ( ~3s ). And mez+fear (at the same time), ist stupid btw lol.

I don't know a lot of templar, because they aren't a lot of pvper on venebor?

lol.. Warlocks can not fear, unless you're counting the 1 second duration fear when our root wears off. <laugh>

Necromancer can fear for a god aweful amount of time, and I believe the Coercor's fear is 8-10 seconds in PvP? I don't know the duration, but it seems like an aweful amount of time. How long is the Defilers fear?

I love how Freeport always talks down the power of fear.

And please for the love of god tell me how an Illy is a better CC class than the Coercor in PvP.

No, you just have one of the highest PvP DPS classes in the game able to be virtually immune to CC. A Bruiser with Chi could easily destroy an Illy.

A bruiser should destroy an illy even without Chi...

It isn't.

And dark is right, sadly, Illy CC > Coercer CC, largely due to the fact that they get resisted a lot less.

In a group on group situation it's going to take multiple classes (multiple players) to allow that monk to get to that Coercor without CC effects. While a Bruiser will get to the Illy with only his abilities.

It's a big difference.

Only because of resists, but this is an entirely different issue. The illusionist gets resisted too, no matter what your perceptions are.

Without resists the Coercor is hands down the best CC class in the game.

If that isn't enough,

the Defiler gets a fear, while the Mystic gets what.

the Inquisitor gets a mesmerize, fear, and I think possibly a root.

the Shadow Knight gets a fear, while the Paladin gets what?
