In it's current state, EQ2 is not playable. I'll come back in a week when you all have your gear and are sitting around the docks showing it off.

They don't understand how ridiculously easy it is for them to get their end game gear. I was in that "pvp" at the docks for about an hour today in a x2. Thats right, a x2 of exileds came into that shit for 45 minutes without wiping ONCE. Toward the end we were praying you would finish us off so we could call out of that BULLSHIT.

It isn't fun, and it isn't PvP. That is NOT raid vs raid pvp. Literally, the only effective tactic is to spam AE's and group heals.. and watch them go off 10 seconds after you cast them. That is not an exaggeration. That is NOT Everquest 2. That is a gay Token party circle jerk.

Fuck you all and your 'obtainable gear by non-exiled players'. FUCK YOU.

Insurrection is the best freeport has to offer, and it's my choice to be in this guild. There are a handful of exceptional players, and another handful maybe two of good players, and another couple of players I know could improve. However we're doing what Darkhand never did factioned so I'm happy. Especially considering I have no desire to leave Freeport.

Having all classes will not make up for lack of skill, however we have enough skilled "factioned" players to make it to VP and once there we'll see how far we get.

So I guess that's where we differ, I know if we had all classes raiding would be easier. Because we do have the skillbase required, even if some people had to reroll. We do have an overabundance of some classes.

I've never posted on eq2 Flames, mostly because everytime i've come here all i see is whiners complaining about how everything is unfair to them, etc. etc.

I decided to post this one time, simply because the whining has become incredibly entertaining.

#1) Factioned raiding is harder than bluebie raiding. Very simple. both sides lack essential classes to make every raid doable the first couple pulls/attempts/trips.

#2) If Both City factions have INCENTIVE (very important word there) to Mass PVP against each other, they will do so. Any negative side effects of doing so are unfortunate, but tolerable.

#3) SOE is Running an MMO... Massive Multiplayer... Yet their server can't handle 100+ people in a single zone fighting. Apparently Massive and Multiplayer don't go well together in Sony's "Vision".

#4) If your complaining about a bunch of OTHER people PVPing on a PVP server, you may want to reconsider your presence on a PVP server. Especially if the PVP is interfering with your PVE gameplay.

#5) Lastly, None of the people who are PVPing give a damn about what raid zone, raid mob, or group instance you're doing while they are out fighting each other in horribly laggy situations. You raid for gear, and now the factions are raiding for gear. PvE raiding has 5+ day lockouts, PVP raiding has no limitation. Which would you do?

Our "Give a Damn." is broken.

I personally don't raid, at all. And would love to be out PvPing. Unfortunately, I can't. Because the servers are raped from the huge clusterfuck cripple fight going on in KP.

Factioned raiding might be 'harder' but you CAN get the gear. You really really can. Mythical's might be pushing it.. I'll give you that. I still think it's doable.

If you REALLY think that the 'negative side effects' are tolerable then you've lost your damn mind. I can't play EQ2 right now, PERIOD. Not in KP, not ANYWHERE else.. because it's so terrible.

That is NOT at all PvP. It's just not. Running in, blue backgrounding, hailing writ giver.. as a matter of fact, anytime hailing an NPC comes into the equation, it isn't PvP.

edit: just get your gear and be done with it. I don't care at alllll if everyone in Qeynos and FP has amazing Better-then-VP gear. I don't CARE. We will still kill you at least as often as you kill us.
