Default PvP Improvements

1. Zoning while in combat was disabled. Let's disable reviving while group mates are in combat. Players may leave group to revive(so they are not bound to their group over a 10 minute fight for instance), yet their group will be in combat and they will be ineligible for invite.

2. Include a travel requirement in the PvP writs. For instance, if the writ giver is at KP Docks have him send you to Sathir's Span to complete the first objective of the writ, and once there the killing requirement comes into play. Have the objective area be a random location on a list. I could see one of these givers per zone.

- Writ doers will have to move around different locations to pvp.
- It will spread the PvP out to multiple zones reducing lag.
- and make pvp less efficient the more allies you have, when it comes to farming tokens.

Further food for thought: Have harder writs, with a maximum allowed time requirement AND a multi zone requirement. Perhaps a 30 minute writ to kill several tens of people in several zones. This means more pvp, yet spread out and variable as to time and location.

3. Make revive locations a maximum five minutes of immunity. If players want a longer break they can camp and stop taking up server and client resources. Make docks and other immunity-gaining areas also have a maximum immunity sufficient to secure a ride, but not hide in.

take tokens out make people pvp for fun like it should be and see who is still around, I guarantee there will be 4 of us. Take titles out while your at it.

I'm an exile, who has been exiled for almost two years. Before there was raiding in exile on Venekor.

And haven't raided in almost a year.

I'm in Den, and most of our time is spent PvPing. With side items of thinking, talking, and dreaming about PvP.

I'm concerned that Nagafen will certainly die as WAR gets closer. I like this game a lot. I will be playing WAR, but why not have two really good games?

These 'us vs them' mentalities pertaining to exiles and faction citizens is ridiculous, and the fog of war is unbelievable sometimes. People should be able to step back from their own immediate circumstances and look at their situation objectively... if they did I think they'd go out and PvP, and forget about the lame excuses.

But that's expecting a lot, and I'd rather not set myself up for disappointment, so instead we should just change the ruleset to draw every drop of PvP out of people. :D

the greatest possible pvp server ever would be max level 50

old world > new world

15 or so contesteds

none of the overpowered ancient teaching etc

4-5 30 minute raid instances with 1 day lockouts = massive amounts of guild pvp due to traveling between raid zones each night


if they took out the permaimmunity changes but left in no zoneing so TS and nek docks were fun as shit again. Gear balance would be there too since nothing from t5 was really OP like a lot of the pvp gear and mythicals.
