Game mechanics haven't changed much since EoF. When they let us play on PvP test, I was 3-shotted by a dirge with the rigid scale bow. He hit me with his root-bow attack then one auto-attack and I was dead. i was wearing full PvP set (EoF one)

Yeah when they allowed blue servers to copy to test very few PvP transfered characters could compete with the bluebies and their gear.

I remember a Guardian of all things killing people in sets of three.. He shot to General in an hour, in another hour he was fighting the GM character on the beach because no one was giving him a challenge.

I remember a shout from him that was like; "I thought PvP was supposed to be hard?"

God, I wish I could remember this guys name.

I think they should open a new PvP server that has the FFA PvP mechanics of Exile as well as cross faction guilds like PvE servers. Kill anyone, raid with anyone. Allow transfers from PvP and PvE servers to get it populated

Anyone worth half a damn could compete with the PvE crowd if they were to transfer over and keep their gear. I doubt their gear would be an issue for a while until they really got the swing of PvP.

I mean, no offense or anything, but it's a different play experience to PvP, and I imagine alot of the hardcore raiders from PvE servers would flop around like fish out of water for a considerable amount of time.

In short: Sure let 'em transfer, and keep their stuff too. (Maybe not money because that could freak the economy out?)

yep, those are the conditions i was just going to post as well. revert any mythical back to the fabled version, strip VP/avatar loot, and remove all RoK raid flags. let them keep spells, ffs there's no reason to strip them heh.

then, and only then, would they be on par with the majority of players in the Nagafen environment. what they choose to do as far as reflagging, switching factions, exiling, etc is up to them at that point =)

btw, i also think red->blue transfers should have been enabled a long time ago. (with any pvp gear obviously stripped during the transfer)
