The OP is the guild leader of the PVP guild that's doing this.

I suspect he posted it in General Gameplay to confuse the issue and get a bunch of people saying "see, all these other guilds are doing it" so he could justify the decision to his guild.

Tangarth, I believe you can appreciate the difference between doing this in PVE and on a PVP server.

The poll itself is bullshit because it just asks the question generally, rather than specifically based on a PVP server.

Thanks

It had more to do with Narkle wanne-be e-badass

It's obviously a much bigger issue on pvp, and therefore should be a pvp thread in a pvp section. That's very likely the OP's idea by putting it in general gameplay, but why don't one of you who're really against this put it where it belongs.

How much PvP is actually done in raids (where the epics shine)? I fail to see the big deal.

You don't think the, say, assassin epic is a big deal in one on one pvp?

Or the wizard epic?

This really is a PVP thread, so I'm going to move it, despite the incoming claim I expect about administering this board based on my guild or personal bias.

Those are the only two classes that really matter and even then it's a marginal gain. How long are the average Assassin/Wizard fights? I don't think the benefit is that great.

I sort of laughed when I read it too. LFG is so cute when he's angry! =)

The T8 PvP gear w/ high proc chance reactive control effects (detarger/fear) and the reactive fear damage shield house item have a far, FAR greater effect on changing the face of PvP than mythical vs fabled weapons, and those PvP items are obtainable solo. The quality of gear available to the casual raider in T8 through instances and low tier raids is fantastic.

I've never carried a sig on these boards, but I think LFG's nuke weapons quote might have just made it into my first one. =)

Anyone who is surprised or takes exception to the idea of selling mythicals (be it PvP or otherwise) is obviously a little wet behind the ears.

Anyone who thinks this goes much beyond an Onyx vs. Kraken ethics pissing match, at this point, is similarly fucking stupid.

Fortunately this thread has just been moved to the PvP forum, where LFG can prevent further embarassment due to the lack of general traffic. Nice!

Why not just delete it dude? You guys are sailing the mighty failboat right into the sunset all over this issue lately, just cover your tracks and pretend it never happened.
