Default Is it unethical to share/sell mythical quest updates outside of guild?

As a guild we've recently opted to open up mythical quest updates and VP access for a fee and under certain conditions, for free. We recently had a discussion in open Exile chat where the arguments and opinions regarding this issue couldn't have been more varied.

Is it immoral to share mythical updates with those who haven't put in the time with a guild to properly progress and earn them (strictly speaking) for themselves? Or is it fair for those who have already gotten to that point to share what they've earned, and under some circumstances, reap a benefit from their talent and success? Or alternatively, does it simply not matter what people do with their own time?

Does your answer change for a PvP situation? Why?

edit: added PvP mention

its not a question of whether its ethical or not. if your guild worked hard to get mythicals, it is unfair to them to have to sit by while scrubpvper_00 gets his without doing any of the work, it basically means that regardless of how much kraken members are against it, its gunna happen anyway just cuz you want to pocket some extra cash.

and yes, many kraken members think its bullshit even though they are getting paid for it. it isnt up to them, its up to the 3 people who are in charge, everyone doesnt matter as far as davram is concerned.

i used to be in kraken, but i got kicked for speaking up against bullshit like this and now im in onyx.

members of kraken: just leave that trash guild now and save yourself alot of pain.

People are goign to get their mythicals sooner or later, I might as well be a capitalist and get it while the going is good!

I fail to see how anyone but a complete nerd with an overblown ego could possibily make this an issue of ethics. Truly... It's a mutual action between two parties that leads to a desirable result for both. No one gets hurt in the process and no one possibily gets denied anything.

Where does it say that one must stay along the same progress meter as a guild? I would imagine guilds would actively promote members to improve their characters as much as possibile, regardless of how it's done. Especially raid guilds. Especially raid guilds on a Pvp server where gear is essential to your survival regardless of your class.

Anyone who sees this as wrong is just mad because they can't afford it.

Ding Ding. May as well let people have some sweet items now, since they don't have the ability or time to commit to a raid guild to get them, but they have the time to play randomly during the day to and farm plat.

Exactly...PvE servers obviously lose nothing by doing this (well might hurt them a little on contested) and gearing up lazy ass enemies on PvP is retarded..ESPECIALLY cuz as a raid guild who the fuck and what the fuck do you need plat for??
