Ok this is not the first time this has happened to me, but for some reason 25% out of the time whenever I kill someone in PvP they always drop platinum. Like 1 month ago before I betrayed to Qeynos, I looted 20 platinum from a Qeynosian, I was like "Whudafuxup mate". Then last night I looted 12 platinum from an exiled who had ganked me 5 times earlier that day (Lawlz), I would kill to have seen the expression on his face when he noticed who killed him and how much coin he lost.

Now my question is...How much coin do you usually carry when you're PvP'ing, or do you carry coin at all outside the walls of Qeynos?

By the way, if you're the Exiled I killed yesterday please tell me why you had so much coin on you, laff.

because you posted that you're going to forget to bank before you leave town and lose a bunch of plat. i know cuz it's happened to me.

I always forget.. lol but I'm a pvp nub so its always just like 40g I lose.

What's even funnier is when I log on my pve toon to raid.. I bank my coin now out of habit. Or I look up and see a large amount of plat and think.. "OH SHIT!".

I Dont Run

Most I've lost is 3p cuz one day a long time ago I was pvpin on my lowbie ranger (back when lockers had groups roaming CL like crazy) and it came to a group vs group fight, me being the only survivor... as I looted the chests for my group we had one person drop a total of 28 plat, and another drop something like 18. I have a screenie of the 18 (mebbe 15 i dun remember) plat drop on my dad's wiz (who was in the group) if you guys want proof... but either way, none of us noticed and we later on got rolled by a group of oranges >_<

We were all pretty pissed when we saw the "You lost 3p, 14g" or whatever.

Due to forgetting. The most I've lost was 3 plat, and that's only because I got it from somebody I killed just before.

Otherwise, there are plenty of people that somehow get a really, really trustworthy person to transfer their plat to an alt of an opposing faction. I don't know if people still do this anymore, I've only heard of it in early 2006, when Nagafen + Co. first opened.
