Re: Scourge and Pet hide
I've now tried to read this post and am really confused.
Scourge is a resistable achievement ability that, when cast and not resisted, strips buffs on the toon it is cast upon, and does a specific amount of disease based damage for each buff stripped. But it is also highly resistable if the player or mob you are using it against has high disease resists. Cast Imprecate first for best results.
It is most fun and useful against players using charmed mobs as pets (the pet will attack the charmer once you strip the charm) and against manashield. On a successful cast against a mage, it's as good or better than harm touch, and will often take half a mage's life or better. It's a great combination with HT, I was usually able to two shot most mages with a scourge/HT combination when I two boxed while leveling.
But scourge doesn't have a damn thing to do with shaman pets.
EDIT: for real fun with Scourge, use it in combination with the Bertox blessing/miracles that double disease damage. That will often one shot a mage when not resisted.
