Well I didn't realize that mages don't have a reactive control effect. So give them one? Whatever. I think they should all be toned down anyway. Cut their effectiveness (proc chance) in half for everyone, and give one of them to mages, that's fine with me.

Not only isn't there "no comparison", there's a pretty fucking GOOD comparison to be made. The sets are very close to eachother, with the PVE one being (rightfully) better. Have you ever looked at a side-by-side comparison of a full 7-set of both? Add up the total stats, HP, POW, combined resists, bonuses, and look at them side by side. The PvP pieces have slightly lower mitigation, slightly worse effects, and slightly lower HP/POW. In many cases they actually have better stats or resists. And the multi-piece bonuses can go both ways, just depends on the class... look at the guardian comparison for instance, their PvP bonuses are a shitload better than the VP ones.

Then you factor in what it takes to get VP set pieces vs what it takes to get PVP set pieces, and the entire argument is absolutely obliterated. How can anyone say with a straight face that something that can be obtained by quite literally running around solo and ganking undergeared soloers who are questing in ROK zones should ever, ever, EVER be better than something that requires the full effort and coordination of a raid guild regularly killing Nexona/Druushk to get to?

Bonuses: a HUGE number of them suck, some are so stupid I just want to lol. 25 tracking avoidance? So a 25% chance not to be tracked when a scout opens it up. A simple re-opening of this spell in 3 seconds completely nullifies that ability.

Dinners ready, so I'll give you one more example. Mystic 7 set bonus: buffs a spell that's not used in PvP. If what the Mystic said is right, it literally doesn't work in PvP.

Are you seriously complaining that 25% of the time you won't show up on track?

Yea, it group PvP its worthless. In solo PvP its nearly worthless.

Who the fuck constantly closes and reopens their track window because they're afraid of not catching someone who was supposed to be there but had a trackavd item? Srsly wtf? It's not like there's a macro to do that, you have to physically move the mouse to click the "x", and then you can re-open it. I have never even considered doing that... to think of making it a constant HABIT in PvP would be a nightmare.

Not to mention, how would we know that someone is in the area, and should show up on track? It's not like we'll walk around stealthed 100% of the time and give our track box a chance to update constantly.

My god, I just had a flash back of EQ1 where we had to work our direction sense with the never ending click, click, click, click, click.....

If you're running around looking for PvP, its only laziness stopping you from refreshing it. Plus, the refreshes, especially in RoK, aren't that reliable imo. I've always found it better to reopen. I've done it since I made my first toon in EQ2.

idk, judging by the 3 people posting it seems I underestimated this item on the basis that most people tracking find clicking 2 buttons a task of mammoth proportions, and that doing it would be a 'nightmare'.

IDK bout you but when I go out on my Illy, seeing as I lack track, I want to be picked up on track so people will come to me rather then me running around looking for them
