When are they updating the pvp armor to be in line with the new vp set armor stats and bonuses? The pvp armor in its current state is mostly garbage with a few decent pieces here and there. The jewelry is great the shields are great this is the armor I am talking about. They said they modeled it off of the version 1.0 VP set gear well that has been upgraded so its time to upgrade the pvp set as well.

How do you know what they are modeled from? The pvp gear looks similar to the gear now, before the pvp gear was way better.

Reading this makes me wonder if you have ever seen a single PvP item.

Besides the changed set effects, PvP gear is not more than a copy and paste of the VP 1.0 gear. With the revamp of the VP set, things like +15 In Combat Health Regeneration got changed into +7 Crit and so on. All they need to do is copy and paste VP 2.0 gear stats again so we can have a small chance of keeping up with the Exileds gear-wise.

Apart from one or two random items or jewelry, the actual PvP armor sets fucking suck, at least for Coercers and the other classes I've seen.

Buff the stats considerably and improve the bonus effects, this gear should be at least as good as VP gear.

Have only seen the guard PVP set and that fucking rocks... i would trade it any min for the VP set...

The majority of armor sets from PVP merch are horrible. I will be wearing the shoulders, and one ranged item as a mage. That's it. Maybe a piece of jewelry but nothing up there is that great really...

How about no. If you can get VP armor, you can kill (arguably) the 2 hardest mobs in VP, respectfully the 4th and 5th hardest instanced mobs currently in game. Why should someone sitting in a raid all week at KP dock deserve better loot than something off a top caliber mob?

Sure the effects should maybe get another look taken at them. But better than top raid loot? NO. Especially now that trash guilds can get amazing shit out of the first bosses from SoH with very minimal effort.

Who said anything about better? It just should be on par with the VP set, and if the VP set gets a boost then the PvP set needs a boost also. Or are you saying that I should get an item with +15 In Combat Health Regeneration for PvPing for days, whereas you get the exact same item with +7 Double Attack for clearing one single instance?

You dont have a fucking clue on what you are talking about for sure... Take a look at the fucking rew so get on the pvp pices. very nice shit... and what do you get on the vp armor? 60sec on Reinforcement 5% trigger chance on the reactive taunt... 25% more hate and some CA damage on a taunt.
