    Default All classes for both cities!!

    I think it's official folks. Aeralik told me last night he would probably be letting the cat out of the bag today at SOE fan faire. Low and behold, check the blog: Fan Faire 08

    Can't wait to watch you all epic-fail even with all classes. The sad part is that there is no mention of any loving for exiles... looks like the exile guilds will be going back to the cities.

    Why would a successful exile guild go to a city(as is)? Trading 40 peoples masters for a few signets, and a couple pvp pieces is so not worth it. It's not as if anyone other than exiles block each other from avatars anyways, which being in a city wouldn't do anything about.

    Why would a successful exile guild go to a faction? Losing masters sucks, yes. But you can recoup those masters back.

    Advantage 1- Guild halls. Guild halls will be located in Antonica and Commonlands, so it is probably required that you be a city faction.

    Advantage 2- Signets. Even though not required for raiding, they simply rock the house in PVP. Huge PVP advantage. This is a big bonus for anybody who cares about PVP to any degree.

    Advantage 3- Cheaper goods. Something about vendors charging more in exile.

    Advantage 4- Some of the PVP pieces are irreplaceable by raid gear. Shifting band, for example. Lots of exiles- (Brokensword, Become to name a few) complain of its overpoweredness. The fear reactive proc for healers is also irreplaceable by raid gear. It's also very likely that we will get new PVP gear in the expansion, making it even more important than it is now to have these certain pieces when PVP'ing.

    Advantage 5- PVP belt/pumice stone/locket of escape. Amazing for some classes in PVP.

    If you don't ever find yourself PVP'ing, leaving exile for faction will have a little effect. If you do care about PVP, leaving exile for a faction means you're going to be stronger and more competitive in PVP overall.

    For one guy, it's not so bad, if they farm a lot. On a guild scale, it would be a nightmare.

    They probably will have to code it specifically to rule out exiles. Not saying they won't, but since blue servers have people in all cities, and they can interact, they will have to take that step. From what I've seen so far, it's really just fluff. Amazingly cool fluff, but still just that. Nothing so far released will be game breaking.

    I personally think of signets in the same light as miracles. Anything you gotta go back to town to recharge just doesn't sit with me as as something i need. But then I don't live for ganks, and I think I used Final Judgement only once on someone that ran. Good for min maxing tho.

    Yep, completely agree. I don't think theyre quite overpowered, but there should be immunities. Why no detarget immunity? Why no fear immunity on the buff(unless they changed that)? Perhaps it's an issue with reactive procs.

    Some would still want to stay for the FFA. To them, attacking anyone is a bigger deal than having every possible advantage. Although I rarely partake in it, haven pvp can be really fun.

    as much as i want ffa pvp there truely is no point without pvp gear. i may raid from time to time. but i def dont enjoy it. it will be interesting to see what guilds go to the cities. this is really going to shake up the pvp servers. now i can try out other classes that ive never had the opportunity to play.
