100% agree, except no locking fame. if you dont want others to see it, then dont let them, but they should not get jipped out of a fight they won just because YOU dont like the system. Personally, Id keep it on self, cuz the drive for a new title keeps me going, but I dont not fight because of it. I am always very sad, because im always losing fame when I attack trios and above :*(

Wrong. Not getting fame because you beat someone that decided that they didn't want to take part in the entire farce of a fame system is NOT "being jipped". They have chosen to completely disregard that part of the game, and neither they nor their enemies should benefit in any fashion.

If fame is a major driving factor in your PvP playstyle, I would submit that you have very weak and dubious reasons for playing this game. Fame has done just as much, if not more, to ruin quality PvP as any other bullshit mechanic (writs, tokens, evac, etc).

It needs to be removed completely. Or, in the absence of that, give players a way to opt out of the system so they don't have to deal with it and all the harm it brings to this game.

It isnt my main drive for playing the game, however it is an incentive to seek out the better players. I like the cool word, as well as the fact that while a dreadnaught may run more than a slayer, they are PROBABLY better as well. If titles were removed 100% I would still play as well. Personally, they need to remove them, OR make it so you gain and lose as normal, you just dont see it yourself if you want it that way, therefore people can still get rewarded for beating you, but you dont partake in the system.
