So, I've played a Wizard, Pally and Troub to 80 on a non pvp server and now I'm interested in starting up on PvP and I'm wondering how healers play. Im probably going to make a templar, but I'm wondering how they fair in PvP, I don't really want to be a druid but also how do Mystics do in PvP? I really don't care if they're overpowered or what not I just want to know what it's like to play either of these classes!

1. Druids are best healers pound for pound due to fast and strong heals. Wardens being the stronger healer of the 2 by a good margin because fo purity, the tree, and the fairy.

2. Clerics are good healers as well but have very long cast times. When spec'd down STR line for steadfast (immunity to interrupt and most stifles) they can put out pretty impressive healing numbers. Templars are better healers than Inquisitors--Templars being more defensive and Inquisitors more offensive imo and also have sanctuary, divine arbitration.

3. Shaman are the worst healers out of the 3. Shaman have long cast times and have no way to keep from being constantly interrupted so they get off much fewer spells in comparison to druids and clerics. Also due to the overall healing nerf, shaman wards pack much less punch than what they should. I dont know enough about the 2 to know which would be better.


Warden and Templar make the best healer combo. Have personally been in 6 man groups with a good warden/templar combo multiple times and have had them each heal over 1 million hps each vs x2-x5's attacking the 6 of us.

Good healers in PvP are rare but when you find one you treat em well, and make sure they dont die~

And I'm not having trouble figuring out what specific healers do or what not, had that figured out a while ago, just wondering as far as survivability in say a 1v1 how does a templar fair?

And, in PvP if I'm grouped and one of my group members kills someone and I'm just primarily healing do I get credit for the kill?
