Reach range means:

Combat arts hit you at 13 meters away
Auto attacks hit you at 5 meters away

Reach has been keeping a lot of crit double-attack auto attacks away from you because swashies want to kite instead. Enjoy getting raped to pieces by T8 weapons when the update is live. Maybe then you'll figure out what to REALLY bitch about~

t8 weapons?!?! Omg like the ones most melees are already using? Believe it or not, managing a crit double attack that goes 3k+ in pvp combat isn't something only a swashbuckler can do. (Hell, I'm more afraid of a berserker coming at me in melee range with full temps) The only thing reach did for swashbucklers was keep THEIR asses from getting raped to pieces by other melees with overpowered auto attack damage frankly...

Kay, fair enough. I didn't mean to make it look like Swashies have been hiding a cannon. I just meant that T8 weapons are the big problem for ALL melee classes. It'd be much more efficient to gimp those rather than remove Reach.
