Swash temps own, and EOF AAs allow you to drop recast right down on them. Swash has almost equal PVP miti debuff but is less impressive in terms of stun/root lock ability. Swash is less positional, making them slightly easier to play. Swash with Reach spec can still get one hit in from a stupidly long distance.

On the other hand, brig CAs are huge in PVP, autoattack is still big (although have been hit by the nerf bat, and rightly so) and double up can be enormous spike damage. Beg for Mercy is also a real bitch of a spell for kiting classes to handle.

Both classes are equally reliant on pots and cures to survive solo pvp, so consider making an alchy. If you dont get the complete jump on someone and a fight lasts more than a few seconds, you will probably lose... especially against some more durable classes.

Based on several years experience of rogues (at which i've generally sucked, but still managed a few thousand solo PKs) i'd say don't even fucking bother, try a warlock, enchanter or brawler. Or hell, even try a mystic :D
