Icon14 Cross-server channels on PvP servers?

This is probably a stupid question but I haven't been able to find the answer anywhere. I play mostly on AB and kinda want to give PvP a shot (it's about all I miss coming over to EQ2 from WoW, and even on WoW I didn't play on PvP servers). If I roll a goodie on a PvP server, will my ability to talk to evils in cross-server channels be affected? My original thought was "no", but on the other hand if goodies speak Antonican and can't understand Common the answer would be "yes", so I really have no idea.

Thanks for the help.

You can't send or receive tells.
I don't believe you can join channels on other servers.

Yes, it will be affected in that you won't be able to do it.

Damn. Was worth a shot. The whole being able to bother my guildies/friends on any server thing is nice but what's the point of having toons on other pve servers where I don't know anyone? Might still try it out, but eh.

My guild is way too small for vent to be worth the expense. We can't even get everyone in voice chat half the time, as some people just say they don't like it.

Besides, that wouldn't help with non-guild channels.

no you cant talk toother severs or allignments within server and outside.
except through ventrilio ( if you like that program)

but if you want to try PvP, go ahead, you might like it.
i play on antonia Bayle as well as Vox. I enjoy both alot
I like PvP on vox because its not as crowded as naggy or so.
but you should try it on any server you want.
just play a character that you know real well and start with that.
only some attacks wont work in PvP.
It gives the game a even more difficulty, I mean its easy to Raid, lvl up, etc.. on a
PvE server but try doing all this with a raid x2 or 4 or so on you as well.

true Vox is kinda dead, but it did go up again in past few weeks by a few %.
yea because of the live gamer u cant leave except to bazaar i think.

but I feel even though Naggy is alot more PvP, it is a bit to much. For me its good to equal out PvPing and question/raiding etc... without worries of getting ganked so much.
I know a few people from naggy that were expert Pvpers that switched over to Vox becasue it was just way to crowded.
but you are right, if you plan on switchinf servers sooner or later, then dont come to vox, you only get 1 choice, if even that.

*** friendly, peaceful greeting to Daalilama, Storm Rising and Naggy
