I just came back from 5 months of no EQ2 and I noticed that many people that were untitled to hunter were now Overseers and Masters with full suits of PvP gear. Before my vacation I held a General title and pvp'd daily I know the title wasnt the best but it was actually something to work for and be happy to hold onto. Goloro said that the system is rewarding people who pvp alot but I think its just rewarding players with no skill that have learned they can get damn good gear by dropping an AOE and rez zerging. PvPing imo is going out looking for players to fight and win or lose it was a player vs player battle, not sitting in the middle of 100 players and collecting tokens while people who arent lagged out kill eachother. I think its crap that we dont lose fame.

It is still easy to know who the scrubs are with overseer and who the actual good players are so why the fuck do you care?

Well I have never been able to raid nearly as much as you Pudaan, and when I did get to raid I was not lucky enough to raid with a top notch guild like Onyx; Therefore when I actually earn my full set of ROK pvp gear and a couple pieces of the TSO pvp gear it is quite the accomplishment. Yeah I know who the good players are and who the scrubs are but it still stings a little bit to see Noname McGee with a full set of PvP gear when I actually go out there and fight to get each token. Since you asked, this is why the fuck I care. It would be the equivelent to some scrub joining your guild and being handed the best gear just because they are there not because they put in the endless hours of raiding that you have.

That shit happens all the time, we get recruits that come over and get a full 6 set + jewelry in under 2 weeks and then leave. It doesnt piss me off because a shitty player in good gear is still a shitty player and it wont help whatever faction they go back to. Plus when you kill them you get 2x the satisfaction.

Well you got a good point, its a bit more rewarding to kill em. I just think that wether they are raiding or pvping they should have to work a lil harder for their gear. Shit a full set + Jewelry in two weeks? I shouldve left Freeport a long time ago lol.

Thats only because onyx has everything on farm status and no one else needs patterns, it isnt really like that for any other guild.

If you seriously look at it especially if you care not for titles. Titles really don't mean jack, I think everyone can agree to that. What has increased is the pvp fights. People are less inclined to run and just sit there and fight til unevitable.

Even if you pvp a lot, it still takes some time to acquire pvp gear. You can by no means obtain overnight.

I really dont understand when people want to talk about fame decay when it has no bearing. Is that why people play on Naggy? For a title? That is not why I am here.
