Where the hell are the instant cast spells at?
Hate to compare this game to WoW but anyone who thinks pvp here is more balanced than pvp in wow is kidding themselves. You can attempt to debate that point all you want but the fact is WoW pvp is far far ahead of EQ2 in terms of balance. One of the main reasons WoW is more balanced is the number of instant cast spells casters get for both damage and crowd control, something that eq2 is lacking, for nearly every caster. In fact this is the only MMO with pvp I've seen where they seem to understand that casters will have less hp, take more physical damage, and be interrupted while being hit, and then force them to do that very thing 90% of the time, if not more, during a pvp encounter. And it doesn't work out. You can see it just by browsing the forums, every other pvp signature is a melee class with high damage instant cast abilities. You will see Shadowknight 2:1 KDR, Random Scout Class 3:1 KDR, Random Mage class claiming they are perfectly fine in PvP, no signature, Random Healer class claiming they are perfectly fine in PvP, no signature. You will rarely see a mage or healer class with a signature shown proving they have a decent KDR without them admitting they are always in a 6 man group surrounded by the SK/Paladin and Scout classes, both of which would still have their great KDR without that mage in the group. Now I know, pvp is grouping, need a group, gotta have a group! Solo happens people, and often. Start converting some of those mage spells into instant cast crowd control abilities and balance this game, not .5 second cast abilities, Instant Cast. No idea why it turned this into a block of text when I put each point into its own paragraph.
