Oh, and Beandip (Peak rite?), while its possible that it took you a while to get your x4 set pieces, that would have been purely because there are other people in your raid getting gear also. The first few pieces of the x4 loot can be got with less than a full raid. Don't insult my intelligence by suggesting that you could have had 4 full sets of pvp gear in the same amount of time, we all know thats bullshit.

Exile's don't want PvP gear to be any good because they can't have it. Pure and simple.

i can tell you right now if the entire server had gear equivalent to onyx's it would be incredibly gay, it wouldnt make things fair like you think it would.

Gay like in when the factions started getting mythicals and 1 hella stacked group couldnt stand up 2 a x6 of scubs anymore.

Every mother fucker knows having better gear than the enemy makes pvp more fun for the ones with the advantage because its easier to win against odds..... go figure.....
Of course its harder to fight off the zerg when they are packing just as much crit mit as you, just be glad the pvp sets dont add near as much dps as the pve sets do.

1 stacked group can stand up to a x6 of scrubs unless they decided to charm the healers, which is usually what happens.

If everyone had our gear we would all be one shotting each other, it would be way worse then it is right now, i fight onyx all the time and all that happens is one of us gets an auto attack and the other one is at 10% and stun cloaked before they can even react, healers never ever die, especially wardens.

You could just raid to get amazing gear like we do, stop sucking.

not everyone can raid contesteds though. and although a few factioned guilds probably could take the easier ones, it would have to be pretty quick, and I doubt people would kill then without quite a few pvp free pulls.

The only good thing about avatars are their charms, the rest of the gear drops to sporadic to really give 1 character a huge boost....Most of onyx has 1 charm, all of our gear comes from instances.

If they gave factions the ability to get TSO quality gear from farming tokens all day it would fuck up this servers progression so bad, the gear is worse because people always take the path of least resistance to get gear, EVERYBODY was in lavastorm farming tokens, tons of people follow groups around trying to leech updates, in previous expansions and TSO there were people blatantly farming alts for gear.

TSO set gear is way harder to get then pvp gear unless you join a well established guild that has it on farm status, and even then it will still take some time to wait for drops. Does the pvp gear need a "slight" boost maybe but it should be no where near the equivalent of TSO gear. If this wasnt a PvE centered game and the devs took a lot of time looking at pvp issues then it would be a different story.

While that is true, they could make pvp armour pvp centric instead of pve centric (and give corresponding boosts to it) so that pvp armour would essentially be useless in pve, but be just as good or nearly as good as raid dropped items in pvp.

Bonuses like transpostion/dispersion, dmg shield on physical attack, fear/stun/stiffle/daze procs, chance to randomly teleport around when hit, in-combat movement speed are just some of the bonuses that they could put on pvp armour and set bonuses that would have little impact on pve but make it worthwhile for pvp.

That would fucking gay for all factions involved, you seriously want more shit like that? Have you ever fought a healer with fear earring? That one little control effect item makes pvp already gay enough.

They dont take the time balancing pvp stuff and therefore the armor would probably get out of control and there would be no nerfs in sight, just like every other pvp issue in the game. This game isnt run by people who have pvpers number 1 priority, or even close to number 1.
