Kin Meds tbh

Not exaggerating when I say I have some fights - even against greens and blues - where I'm 100% resisted, yet when I'm playing the Dirge I don't resist more than 1 or 2 spells in a fight. I know my gear isn't great but I had a 56 zerg on me in SS yesterday resisting me! 56 attacks an 80 melee class and he'll outright explode!

Crying aside, what can be done about this? +disruption?

There has been something wrong from this game since release with greens and resists. Ive seen our TSO geared illys fight a green and get 90% of the stuff they throw at them resisted. Same with green wizards parrying my attacks way more then level 80 ones with terrible gear.

+disruption helps but to my knowledge there is basically nothing you can do in this game to help with resists, just try and land all your debuffs first i guess. Mostly comes down to luck

My warlock has about 460-480 disruption, subjugation and ordination and I only land about 30-40% in pvp regardless of con. If you ask around SOE forums, everyone says about the same.

Edit: Forgot to mention, in pve wis debuff helps my resist rate a lot. I am guessing the same for pvp, but who is going to debuff wis for you if it isn't a thing your class debuffs for?

I have the same problem on my warlock. I can't even get my nox debuff on people most of the time. I managed to get Upheaval off on a full group of players once only to have every single one of them resist it. Its not even worth trying to root someone as that almost never works for me. The few times it does they just pot out of it nearly instantly before I can land another spell on them.

If all you do is PVP then its not worth your time to play a caster.

After solo PvPing for a couple hours today, and having over half of ALL my spell cast over that time resisted, I've decided to roll an alt melee class to 80, or level up Qtoon. It would be pretty fucked up if 20% of all spells were resisted, but over half? that's just retarded imo. Some days it's worse than others, but today was partitularly spastic

Even on the odd fight I land every spell, its not worth the frustration of the countless times resists fuck me up.

Pet follow and resists get fixed all the time. Don't ask me what that means because my 80 nec and 80 lock don't see ANY changes. Ever. The pet still follows only if you jump up and down and even when it does follow, it doesn't get my chok tot speed so solo hunting is impossible.


Brig pvp ftw. I rolled another brig and went exile, its killer. PVP like when the server went live.

I got to enjoy this experience yesterday in EL on my 48 Defiler. Full mc/legendary, all master 1 spells with a few adept 3's, 398 int.

I stood outside of a fight casting repeatedly on a lvl 40 (green, still in t4 gear) fury. Eleven resists in a row. I didn't land a single solitary spell on her. Her paladin attacked me, he was 42. I feared him and chained through all my four of my dots (not including aoe) and he resisted every single one of them. My nuke, with attached disease debuff, landed, and then he proceeded to resist every dot again with the exception of one.

This shit is fucked up. How the hell are non melee classes supposed to compete in this game?
