I betrayed to illy a short while before I took a break, before GU 45, and it wasn't really my style. I liked illuminate a lot, and at the time they were a lot better off in pvp and pve than coercers, but the class just wasn't for me. So when I came back to the game two weeks ago and betrayed back to coercer, imagine my shock when I found that coercers are the new fotm. Coercers needed some help in pvp, but on the other hand, I liked being one of the only three or four max level coercers on my server.

And if you need a coercer to do RoV, you suck and should do us all a favour and delete your character.

They are nice to use, but i'd recommend getting the CC that you want to use out of the way before you send him in. And granted it's been awhile, but im pretty sure pets do produce CC immunities in pvp with their mediocre stuns/stifles.
