Not going to lie to you, Freeport is drowning in Coercers - at any time of the day there are more of them LFG than anything else, sometimes more of them than the rest put together. So, how do Illys stack up in PvP and are there likely to be pick-up groups that take an illy over a coercer for instances etc?

For solo PvP, I'd say they were about equal, I would love illuminate though.

6v6, although it pains me to say it, I believe Illys are considerably better. They boost DPS a lot more, regardless of which classes you have, and their dps doesn't rely on reactives that, against a good group, are cured before they can be fully triggered.

Raiding, illy overall.

Well, I couldn't imagine Milambers being anything other than a Coercer tbh. He was at 80 long before the GU45 changes, and I was still (still am) in love with the class, if slightly less than before.

Plus, when I switched a couple months back the Coercer population wasn't quite a bad, especially on Qeynos side.

Anyone know about the Illy pet in PvP? They suggest on the illy board not to bother getting it Adp III/Mastered for PvE until one is Mythed (which aint happening any time soon) but what about in PvP?
