ugh, moved, no one reads this board and it was a question for PvE servers. thanks for making the post worthless.

To all the PvP dewdz, I played on venekor for a while, its fucking stupid. There are no objectives in PvP other than a fancy title which can be easily obtained. And no im not asking if people would be interested in cross server dueling, was thinking more along the lines of either 6v6 arenas (less resource intensive) or 24v24 Realm vs Realm, BG, w/e you wanna call it.

This may not be well known throughout the community but pvp servers actually have the exact same pve content as pve servers. I know right?! Who would have thought?

Well I mean I don't know what EQ2 encyclopedia has to say about PVP, but I do know that if one felt so inclined they could play on a pvp server and still experience all the pve content available on a pve server. All the heroic zones are there, raid zones, all the raid gear and avatar gear. I cannot think of any zones or mobs or peices of equipment not available to pvp players. I do know that not all gear available to pvp players is available to pve players.

One could go as far as to say that on a pvp server you can do everything you can on a pve server and more. Obviously they wouldn't be completely accurate, since pvp servers cannot communicate across servers or even factions. For the most part though pvp is everything pve is and more.

That is not to say that just because there is more content available on a pvp server that it is better, and certainly it is less popular. To each his own, but the good thing about pvp servers is if you get bored of the "objectiveless" pvp, you can always fall back on pve, on a blue server you don't get that choice.

Some people like it better not to have the choice, which is fine, personally I like it.
