    Default Advice on killing troubs

When asked what a good class to kill troubador is, people often reply bruiser. With closed mind you're immune to mez/charm long enough to kill them easily.

So anyway I happen to play a bruiser already, but I've had trouble from troubs recently. It's their damn snare. It lasts an eternity, and snares me to the point that I might as well be rooted. Troubs run 15% i pvp combat, so basically there is no way to catch them at all.

Sonic fist plus drag?! Yea that's what I use when I'm snared. Drag lasts 2 seconds and then there's a 60s recast timer. So unless I can kill them in 2 seconds or keep them stunned, they just run away at 90% run speed difference (snare + their bonus).

Is my only choice to carry freedom potions? These have a 15m recast timer. Sort of wondering if there is just something I'm missing. What makes bruisers so awesome at defeating troubs.

Troubs* are tough as a bruiser actually, for the reason you stated: snares. Dirges* also tough. They can cast snares faster than the recast on your cure pots, though they do help quite a bit and often catch them by surprise when their snare drops. Trick is to not get kited, which unfortunately means losing the initiative.

Use the terrain to your advantage, use objects to break los and force them to come closer to try to hit you. If they decide to disengage however, there not much you can do to stop them from running.

Make a macro to swap in a 160+ rated ranged weapon.

A well played / geared troub aint gonna just drop from any class though. However, 90% will just crumble under a Yuri in seconds.

What to cure with pots: Vexing verses line (def debuff and power degen), Main snare Depressing Chant.

When to sprint toggle: Whenever you arent in their face, if you dont know how to sprint toggle than you need to learn that asap!

When to Cast Dark Crystalize Wand: If you dont have this weapon, you need to get it for 1v1 pvp. U can switch weapons/range items every 4 seconds in pvp combat, so using this t2 item that snares for 50% for 30 seconds with no chance of breaking and has no increased resistibility based on lvl. Cast the snare and then switch back to ur dps weapon.

When to stun/stifle pot: A. as soon as mez ends for cure stun/stifle (they always stifle after their mez and they have a short stun after their mez) B. any time cloak of justice procs

When to Rescue(type)+Fd: When you are not snared or have just cured a snare and during a sprint toggle.

When to Mantis Leap: Any time drag+sonic fist combo fails due to parry or resist. Should be followed up by a fear or mez, that way you can sprint toggle and get in their face before the fear or mez ends.

When to Drag+ Sonic fist: Every fight with a trouby should be initiated by you if its at all possible. Pop ur Boomrang Bandolier for x2 Max Ca range and start the fight before they do.

-Have arcane ward up before fight btw.
-Snares usually occur during a mez or at 15ish meters.
    -Stifle signets make things easier.
-Close mind shouldnt even be necessary, but if something unexpected occurs (stone of nizara proc or random stun cloak) than feel free to cure it with your self cure spell and then cast close mind
