Creates a /do_file_commands macro shouting and telling people who have Venril's Mana Sacrifice

The plugin makes the asterisk sound for about 3 seconds notifying you to press the macro. Here's a log sample of what may happen:

It's up to you to press the macro quickly enough to make a difference, but at least you don't have to read or type any names.

The plugin interface has minimal logging and you can configure what the macro will do with the information, but currently it doesn't save changes. The plugin will create the macro file two parent folders upwards from the currently open log file. This should be the base EQ2 folder.

To use the macro, make a hotbar button with the following command

Hi, I am working on a Thet-em-aua's curse plug-in which is modified from this.

What I did is simply downloaded this file and edit with VB2008, change the effect name from mana sacrifice to Mark of the Serpent.

Everything works just fine but there are 4 players got hit by the Mark of the Serpent, so it means I have to add player 3 and player 4 in the code, but how?

I ended up making one for this mob along with Kultak's curse thing. Though I have not released them. This is mostly because I wanted to unify all of the plugins into one that could accept parameters like number of characters to wait for; a time limit to wait, etc. Editing the VS Mana Sacrifce plugin isn't really the easiest way to go for this. Additionally there are actually things in the ACT plugin API that make things like writing to a macro file easier that the VS plugin doesn't make use of.

I am having an issue with enabling Mana Sacrafice plugin. It keeps saying "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Any ideas on what is causing it? I have tried using Detrimental Call Macro for this but I can't stand the repeats so prefer to use the Mana Sacrafice plugin when doing VS.

What do you mean by repeats when using the Detrimental Macro?

I use text to speech over Vent and it keeps repeating who has mana sacrifice on every tick. It would be great if it would only say it once.

Would assume you got this all fixed but havign it say it over and over again is a great way for you to know when a curse is still active on someone.

Once its removed it wont repeat.
