Given all that has been said here, I have used the new plugin and can see somethings that I would like to change. Is there anyway for the community to get their hands on the source code for the Aion plugin? I would really like to see whats going on o.O

I was was going to actually start to write my own lightweight parser for Aion, but lets see what happens with this plugin first. I used ACT for EQ2 since it was first available and this new plugin sounds very interesting

im an old fanboy too from EQ2 and ACT and fully support further development of this tool for AION.

yes you can reverse enginer and exstract the the full project to view in Visual Studio Express just download reflector and add the dll file to the library then right click the library and click Exstract then you will get a Full project folder you can open in Visual Studio Express, you can do the same with ACT or other .NET tool thats not been protected.

Currently im using ACT for Eq2 and now for Aion. The problem Im having when using it with aion is its using my eq2 character name. I have no idea how to change it. Ive tried closing down and restarting aion and act but no luck.

First, I suggest that you have two copies of ACT so they use different settings.
Second, the default character name can be changed in General Options -> Miscellaneous -> Default character name if not defined by the log file name.

That setting can be overridden by opening an EQ2 log file which is why I suggest the different configuration sets.

Hi there,

First - thanks a million for this, it's amazing and a real help.

I play a Spiritmaster in Aion, which is a dot/ pet class (i think you can see where this is going ^^)

The summons (Water Energy, Fire Energy, Earth Energy and Wind Servant), show up seperatley to my dmg, as does my pet's attacks. Also my dots fall into "Unknown". While soloing and testing this is not too much of a problem, but for grps it is a bit tricky as I noticed all dots fall into "Unknown" so it is hard to get an accurate idea of anyone's DPS. Is there any way to fix this so that everyone's dots are assigned to them? It would also be great if my summons dmg was assigned to me (pet too if possible).

Just kinda tricky sifting through 4 seperate sets of data to try work out my actual DPS.

I don't play Aion, but these things are probably unavoidable for automatic detection. If there is a combatant that is absolutely yours, you can merge it with your own. If there is a skill that cannot be detected as anyone's but you believe is complete yours, you can merge it with your combatant.

Both of these things are in the Data Correction tab. They are not intelligent however. If you run into another player with your same pets and skills, there will be problems.

Ah thanks very much for the quick response, I'll have a look into it.

SMs don't usually grp together as our dots don't stack so it shouldn't be a major problem

Is this incoming, or outgoing only? I'm a tank looking to defensive parse the block/parry rate of incoming damage. Is that possible with this parser?

EQAditu I will pay your subscription if you logg into Aion and make this parser work as well as it does for EQ2. No Joke. Also a problem I have when using ACT for EQ2 is that I must reload my pluggin settings IE: wave files, every time I load up EverCrack. A clear cut step by step on how to make both ACT files work would be great.
